Great team of professionals.

Absolutely amazing location, Ambiance and interior. The only thing that I was a little upset with was that it was my birthday and I sent a message i thought they would have provided a "welcome/happy birthday setup" nothing too crazy something like the W hotels provide to make someone feel welcomed or acknowledging their celebration (A personalized hotel card) . Also the hotel rooms dont have a mini fridge , I think in 2026 that should be an automatic amenitie. They were accommodating with placing stuff in their front fridge but it would have been better to have our own.

Everything was excellent.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are wonderful and unique. The bar area is incredible and the pool with their outdoor area is the nicest in New Orleans.

Gorgeous property in a great location. Would definitely stay again!

We will definitely stay again… Fantastic venue, fantastic staff, fantastic location.

Loved my stay here. Went for my birthday and they took wonderful care of me. It was such a fun trip and the staff were truly excellent.

Stunning property and engaging staff. Traveled for work but it was wonderful to sit by the pool and wind down for the day. Walking distance to local restaurants, shopping and a wellness center

Beware if you are staying at this nice 13 room cozy hotel. They rent their pool out to anyone with $45 dollars for the day. Our experience was pool experience was ruined by loud, classless people, who were there to have their own good time at the expens of hotel guests. I would never go back.

Can’t say enough good things about this property!! Beautifully decorated, attentive and friendly staff, comfortable beds and spacious rooms with plenty of bathroom space. And the AC is freezing! Only downside was the pool seating—they offer day passes and the chairs go very quickly.

Cleanliness: 10/10 Front Desk: 10/10 – Taylor and the entire staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. The Blackbird is a beautifully decorated boutique hotel with just 13 rooms, two bars, a café, and a small pool, creating a charming and intimate atmosphere. The only downside was being awakened by loud drilling outside our room at 7:56 a.m. on June 25. The manager apologized and addressed the issue promptly. While I understand that maintenance is necessary, scheduling noisy work after 10:00 a.m. would be more considerate of guests. The hotel is best suited for adults, couples, and solo travelers rather than families with young children. Overall, we had a great experience, and I would definitely stay at the Blackbird again.

Staff not friendly. Property well maintained. Maybe I am not used to southern hospitality. ???

The scenery here is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic! I had such a great time and will definitely be back. The staff was outstanding as well.

Incredible place feels extremely magical to be there

Pro - nice room and decor. Con - Lady at check in was just rude. Con - you park on the street. Con - the street is very busy all day and night. And on a lot of occasions people are driving very fast. Big con - we never got to use the beautiful salt water pool. Friday we got back around 5 after being in the heat all day. The pool was absolutely packed. Saturday we got back at 1, just to use the pool and there was 12 people in the pool, 9 people lounging around. We left, came back at 3:00 and there was 19 people in the pool, and 7 lounging around. Now keep in mind this pool is not very big. The hotel only has 13 rooms. The hotel sales pool day and weekend passes, so that prevents the people that stay there from getting to use the pool. I will NEVER stay here again!

Such a lovely hotel, small and quiet. Everything was very well maintained and the staff were so nice. The pool and surrounding landscaping was beautiful and a great place to swim and relax. Would definitely stay again!

The property itself is beautiful. Very thoughtfully designed with gorgeous grounds and beautiful interiors. The cocktails were excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated how quickly staff responded when we asked for a small table for the bathroom. For the price point, the hotel lacked many amenities we’d expect from a full-service hotel. There was no room service, no minibar, and no breakfast options (other than basic muffins and bagels in the adjoining cafe during limited morning hours). Our room (101) was also super small which is normally fine, but there was nowhere to sit besides the bed and zero bathroom counter or storage space was an issue for me since I travel with lots of toiletries.

Awesome stay! Clean stylish spacious room! Comfy bed, and friendly staff

We fully enjoyed having a drink out on the patio area right after we checked in and staying up late at the bar and talking to the guy who managed the property. We found out he grew up around San Jose which is close to us. He really made our first night so enjoyable. Our room was beautiful, very clean and quiet. We really loved the pool and the food at the bar by the pool. It was so nice that there was a café on the property also and it was within walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. I wish we could have stayed longer.
