This is an excellent choice, especially if you have a conference at the big hotel across the street. The room was huge and very comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating. The location was excellent, too - close enough to touristy areas and Bourbon St but far enough away to be quieter and less frenetic. The Canal St and St Charles St trams are close by as well. There is a great little breakfast spot about a block away, and lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. This isn't a complaint so much as an observation: the pool in the courtyard is not very big and most folks have to go by it to get to their rooms, so it is a bit public. Great for kids, but we did not end up using it.

The location was excellent, the room was spacious, everything was very clean and comfortable The noise. Our room had windows towards the street and even though they were sealed we had A LOT of noise in our room.

The room was a good size and felt more spacious than expected. We had more than enough space for our family to relax in. The room was supplied with the kitchen necessities along with extra blankets and pillows. The Sunday brunch had great options. The biggest drawback of the property is that smoking is allowed in the courtyard. This is problematic since we pass through the courtyard each time to leave and arrive at our room. It is also where the pool is. The bedroom stayed warmer than the main living space, which was a bit hard to keep us cool without causing the kids to be too cold.
