The property needs an upgrade as the one bedroom deluxe suite had a old building smell we used up a whole can of room refreshner which did nothing to over power the smell. We stayed at the hotel before two years ago; the location is great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Just seriously think about upgrading. The food in the hotel was good as well.

Overall, I really recommend!

Affordable Location a bit far from where our interests were

Great hotel. The closeness to Memorial Sloan Kettering is excellent, just a few blocks. The staff was incredible and the room was very clean and comfortable
-
Loved that they upgraded us to a suite without us even asking!

Travel for a business trip. Stayed in one of the one bedroom suites with a colleague. We had enough privacy for sleeping and shared the bathroom. A great deal. Great location.

Great location. Great front desk staff. Very attentive and helped with any questions. Property is perfected situated not too close to Times Square (didn’t want Times Square), but could walk there (we are walkers) and slightly north of Grand Central. Lots and lots of food options. Coffee shops galore. If you want more actual NY restaurants (not chains), check out a different area like Lower East Side or West Village. Suite was helpful with kids. Bathroom could be a drop larger, but it was fine. Cleaning staff prompt and attentive. They don’t have a gym onsite, but you are able to use a fantastic gym w all amenities a few blocks away. Price also good for NyC.

Exceptional

The Fitzpatrick was very nice. The rooms were a little small but normal for NYC. It is a great location in the heart of midtown. Easy to get to anywhere in the City..
-
Great location. Staff very nice. Spacious room. Decor not great. It’s an old hotel which looks like furniture has been replaced (updated) but unfortunately it seems mismatched) an opportunity lost to keep the old style and charm. I think there needs to be more of Ireland in the hotel, The Irish staying there choose it because of its history and connection to Ireland and want to feel that when they walk into the hotel. The photos in the lobby are great. More of that would be fantastic.

If you like traditional decor and the location works for you, it's not a bad hotel. I personally will choose somewhere else.

Felt like home. World Class Service

Quiet and great location for easy access to the upper neighborhoods of Manhattan.

I was able to check in two hours early, which was great.

Fitzpatricks Manhattan on Lexington between 56/57th street is a wonderful hotel. It is like home from home. The staff are welcoming and so helpful. A must stay when in New York. It is a couple of blocks from Central Park, and 5th Avenue. There is a subway stop right at the corner.

Excellent location, staff, and service. Comfortable room, nice restaurant, friendly welcome.
-
Room is clean, spacious, with nice amenities. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the subway station. Love that umbrella is provided in the room for us to use during our stay. Bed is comfortable. Staff is attentive. Our room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to (4pm) but staff made it a priority when we brought it to their attention. Overall we were very happy with our stay. It was a nice, comfortable “home” to come back to every evening after a full day of exploring the city.

Location Besides getting splashed by the sink from water pressure, getting stuck in the elevator, a smelly carpet in the room, having the room door left open by cleaning staff (twice!), and very low water pressure the shower, the hotel was fine.
-
Smaller, cozy boutique style hotel. Helpful staff and great location for those who prefer to be outside of the theater district and on the east side. .
