Housekeeping and Guest Services went above and beyond in hospitality and providing for all of our needs - even found a pot & pan for us to make eggs on the burner in our room! Excellent location with local transportation, shops and restaurants in the area. Room was quiet (except for the a/c, but this is normal for hotel heat/air conditioning systems) and very comfortable.

minutes from the theatre district and perfect for a little privacy. separate bedroom and fold-out couch in the living room. a fridge & microwave, plus 2 bathrooms?! what more could you ask for?
-
The rooms are clean. The bathroom was very small and right next to the bed. No privacy if you go to the bathroom…
-
Would love if they had more outdoor spaces/ balconies. It’s a beautiful, quaint upper east side stay .

Check in process was not great...

Overall very pleasant stay and I highly recommend the Lombardy to others.

Comfortable room and recently updated. Helpful staff.

Friendly and helpful staff

Staff is friendly and helpful. Be aware that because these are privately owned apartments, the one you get may not look like the photos online. But we’ve stayed there many times, and whether the apartment has new furnishings or older, everything is always clean and in good shape. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at the Lombardy Hotel. The cleanliness was excellent, the location was perfect, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Traveling with two young children can be challenging, but having a kitchen in the room made a huge difference and made our stay much more comfortable and convenient. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again on a future trip to New York.

We loved the Lombardy! Our family of five were very comfortable in the spacious suite that felt like a classic, NYC apartment. And we had a great balcony with NYC views. We will definitely be return visitors to The Lombardy!

Awesome! FYI hotel has no restaurant or an ice machine other than that it’s a great hotel

Hotel was clean and service was good. but unfortunately these problems overshadowed some of the positive.

We had a great stay at the Lombardy Hotel. Really cordial doorman, bellman and lobby staff; nice bathroom amenities, comfy beds with lovely linens and highly secure rooms. Coffee maker took Lavazza pods, which were very nice, though ours only dispensed tiny espresso-sized coffees. This is an interesting property as it is mixed use; part apartment building, part hotel. Our party had 2 rooms, so we were able to see the drastically different styles of the rooms, which were both nice, but had very different wallpapers, furnishings, style of decor. etc. - felt a little bespoke, actually. The only issue during our stay was that our room cards seemed to get demagnetized very easily, but the desk staff replaced them promptly each time. A small matter.
-
The room was HUGE, the bed was so comfortable, and the staff was great! Always at the desk ready with a smile and free bottle of water. This hotel has so much history which gives it charm, but is also beautifully decorated and appointed, which makes it the best hotel. I cannot wait to return.

Great place to stay in midtown

If you need to stay on the Upper East Side, especially for activities east of Lex, consider the Lombardy: great location, great hotel, great room and staff, and a fair price. I found it more accommodating than the Fitzpatrick.

Not a great stay

Staff and room size were fantastic. Shower did drain very slowly.

The rooms are nice size and the location is great, but this place has seen it's best days some years back. The majority of the staff was very nice but when we had an issue with the shower and called and were told they would be right up, we came back 8 hours later and no one attended to the matter. The carpet in our room was destroyed by an animal for sure and they cut a piece of the same carpet and just threw it on top. Not very professional. Spend a few bucks and invest back in your business!!
