Some of the staff were really nice, just a language barrier. The staff in the bar area were really nice & attentive. This is a nice location if you want quiet. The walk up the hill can be difficult, but it was ok for us to get to where we needed to get to. Considering the price paid. I didn't like not having fresh towels daily considering the humidity & heat. Water running out of the sink one day was brown. One day the shower water wouldn't get warm. There was no rice one evening when we came from pouring rain attempting to order dinner. I didn't like the dog in the area that I was eating coming up to the table. Breakfast should have been included. There should be a specific note listed somewhere that cash needs to be paid for almost anything you need at the hotel including the excursion & taxi they arranged. Nothing is really included in this hotel, but the limited # of daily bottled water in your room.

The property is large and beautiful, and has a true 'jungle' feel to it. Rooms are spacious and nice, as well as clean. The staff is friendly, food is good. The bar has some nice views. There is parking, and other useful amenities. The heating unit in my shower wasn't working. Make sure you are OK with the location being up on a hill, with some steep roads! Traffic on Phuket is absolutely horrendous, and getting anywhere from the location will take some time.

The sunset view, food/restaurant, staff, VIP lounge, all staff members - ALL AMAZING! The room was VERY dated, the TV was discolored, the fantastic staff attempted to fix the discoloration but was not successful and the TV completely stopped working on my last night. Also, I ordered a glass of wine at the restaurant, walked around the grounds and went back to my room and the lady from the restaurant knocked on my room door to request the wine glass back. I thought this was very strange and was a bit annoyed because housekeep could have returned the glassware the next day. In addition, I ordered room service and all the food was packed in to-go containers; I went to the restaurant to request metal silverware instead of plastic ware and the staff told me I needed to bring it back. It feels as if the restaurant and the resort are operating under two different businesses - which I thought was very weird

Loved the Jungle Experience! The property is really special, up the hill a short way and has a spectacular sunset view (with decks and a bar!). Such a relief after the chaos of the towns below. The pool was refreshing, the sweet dog Bamboo was the best ‘host’ :), and to have a restaurant onsite made our stay so much more of a vacation. There are posts that talk about the road being too far to walk, but there is a good way up/down and a longer, bad way. At this time (January 2024) if you stick to Soi PATAK 20 you’ll be fine! I liked everything… you can hear the birds some nights like people say, but that’s part of being in the jungle!
