We had a lovely room which was quiet even though we were near the elevator. Bathroom was clean and comfortable. The coffee shop was excellent. Great drinks and pastries and friendly staff. The central location meant getting around was easy too.

Best choice for NYC!

Brilliant and beautiful

The hotel is newly renovated and is beautiful - including the restaurants, bars, and lounges. The rooms also were spacious and clean. The gym amenities were pretty good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, there were a couple that were less vibrant, but I assume that's just individual personality. Everyone was still very professional and helpful. The location is also very great.

Our room was HUGE- 2 queen beds. A couch, and an armchair, as well as a bench at the foot of the bed. Staff were great, rooms quiet and a fabulous view south to WTC.

The property is very beautifully renovated - The rooms are on the larger side for NYC so I loved how big my room was. Temperature of the rooms were very pleasant. Room service breakfast and coffee was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The manager and the doormen were extremely kind and accommodating. The second floor bar is worth visiting even if you aren't staying there bc it is stunning. I had called in advance to ensure that the property had valet parking. However, when I arrived in a Cadillac Escalade (NOT extended version) they told me the car was 'oversized' and could not be valeted - I stay in the city frequently over the last 12 years with this exact vehicle model and have NEVER been told by a hotel that they could not park it and that I am just responsible for solving that problem. They did offer to pay for the garage I found but it was my responsibility to find and go park the car. So as a female traveling alone in Manhattan I did not appreciate being put in that position because I only stay at hotels with valet specifically out as a safety precaution. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude as well and had the attitude that I was inconveniencing her with needing to check in and inquiring about the parking issue. They did graciously allow me to keep the car out front while I shopped around the morning I was leaving. Unfortunately, no spa :(

The W-New York Times Square is our favorite hotel in the city and always our first choice. Nothing beats the location - close to subways, excellent dining, and the charming farmer's market. The staff is top notch - we frequently feel like we've made new friends each visit because the staff is so engaging. It is a treat to stay at this property.
