Location We have been staying here for over 10 years. Perfect location for us. Seems to be going downhill tho and in need of repair and upgrade. The receptionist yesterday did not look at my face once, she was on a recording mode. First time we have ever experienced that! Way over priced for the room we ended up with on level 2 it's like a dungeon right at the back of the building and can't even open a window and the Air Conditioner was mouldy

Staff were very personable.

The bed was so badly sunk in the centre my wife and I spent the night rolling into the centre. The smokers lounge from the club was near our room so the room permanently stuck of cigarette smoke. The dine in options where limited, expecting this to mean they specialised instead of a scatter approach I was disappointed by the food quality. The shower smelt of wet dog the first day untill we had a shower to two to wash away the smell. The lift was broken from the carpark so no quick way from room to caraking those 4am trips out to work in the morning more painful than expected. I wouldn't stay here again, It may once have been a beautiful place but the only thing left that is anything but disappointing is the staff.

Inn was close the venue we were attending. We enjoyed our lunch at West's Bistro. Inn was undergoing extensive renovation which was not ideal.

Great location. Comfortable, spacious and clean room. Friendly staff. The people in the room below were smoking on their balcony which ruined our afternoon balcony experience.

This hotel is a gem in Newcastle. We loved the pool area with the hot tub and the easy access to the Leagues Club for dinner. The staff were lovely and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean. The included breakfast was excellent and they even gave me a coffee in a takeaway cup which was very appreciated. There was nowhere to park before check-in -we had to park up and around the corner and walk to the the hotel and then go back to our car for our luggage. Once we were checked in there was provided parking. The bathroom set up has no privacy whatsoever. Fine, if you're a married couple but awkward set up otherwise. I don't know if every room was like this, but I do wish I'd known this before booking. Its possible that with 2 beds you get some privacy with a different lay-out... but I wouldn't book this room again knowing that I couldn't get out of the shower without being visible to the whole room or use the facilities without true privacy.

The pool and the club amenities The breakfast was very ordinary

The room was ok, a bit claustrophobic for us. My fault, I should have asked for a room with a patio. The bed was very comfy although everytime my hubby moved I felt like I was on a boat ? We will definitely stay again. The staff are all fabulous ? Breakfast, sadly.

Hotel was under construction. Hot tub out of order, elevators out of order. Furniture piled around, lots of things unavailable. Room smelled musty.

We loved this hotel. The pool was great, breakfast was delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of food and restaurant options within the complex, and having access to the gym next door was a great bonus. Honestly, the only issue was that the pool was very crowded, but that’s more due to high occupancy than anything the hotel can control. Other than that, there was nothing to complain about. Web had a great experience.

Fantastic customer service, very friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile. The room was very clean and spacious. The club next door gives amazing serving sizes and definitely get your value for money for dinner! The pool was heated and very clean and tidy. Room service was very prompt and amazing! There is also a mini bar for the taking too with a nice selection. The property was under renovation but it didnt affect our stay. The lift closest to our room was also out of order unfortunately so it did mean a little of a walk to our room from the front entrance but not a big deal. The buffet breakfast was a little underwhelming too but it was rather quiet and so understandable that they wouldn't want a massive range of food to go to waste, maybe a menu service might be a bit more suitable outside of busy times?

free web not good.

I can't fault anything I had a great experience.

This is my second stay at The Executive and I always appreciate the spacious and modern rooms. I stayed for one night and enjoyed a restful stay given my long journey from Perth to Sydney to Newcastle I did find a dead cockroach in the bathroom, but it's not a big issue.

Had a lot of variety for food and drink Comfortable rooms Did not offer help with baggage

There's not one thing that I can think of that I didn't like about this stay.

The rooms were clean and crisp.pool was great to relax by on hot afternoon. Breakfast was great good mixture of things to pick from all very flavorful . Parking was undercover and easy to get a spot The room had noisy vents in bathroom and entry. It was extremely annoying and made it hard to sleep. The bed was bit soft for my liking and bathroom dispenser for soap was empty.
