Staff was best part of stay

I read the reviews before my husband and I arrived and was very worried, but we were truly inspired by the transformation. Needless to say, we were extremely impressed with the motel, the staff was remarkaly friendly and knowledgeable. We met the new owner who had purchased the property a week before and had already implemented several remarkable changes. The rooms were exceptionally clean and filled with the refressing sent of citrus. We did not smell any cigarette smoke, and there were no homeless individual around the property. The sheets were well fitted and clean, and the towels were immaculately clean. We were profoundly impressed with the tremendous amount of work accomplished in just one week, and we will definitely return to this incredible motel again.

Super ghetto property. Bed was horrible. Couldn't sleep. AC had a dirty smell to it. The morning front desk clerk looked like he'd been drinking all night. The end of the bed was wet because the AC was blasting before we got there and the AC is on the ground near the bed. Not a good experience.

This picture on-line rooms do not look like the room we were going to stay in, and this hotel is supposed to be a non-smoking, the hallway on 2nd floor smells nasty like a drug or something it was gross, the curtains rod looks like going to fall of the window and the air conditioning was not working at all. Bathroom disgusting. We heard the dog barking one of the rooms down the hall. We could not stay there and checked out and went to another place. Expedia refuse to give us a full refund.! Very disappointed.

If you can afford $377, just bite the bullet and pay $400-$500 for a Marriott/Hilton closer to Newport. Walking into the lobby, it smells like a wet dog and cigarettes. Same smell in the rooms. We ended up getting two rooms and neither had a towel bar. We had to get a second room because in the first room both the beds had wet sheets. The second room also had wet sheets, but one bed was just damp so we chose that one. Staff was nice enough, but honestly, I doubt they get paid adequately for how much is being charged for a room. During the night, a group of drunk men were yelling in the hallway and banging on doors, staff didn’t do anything to stop it. Walls are extremely thin. At first glance, the location looks good, but it’s in a Walmart parking lot, I should have seen the writing on the wall.

Pretty poor in terms of cleanliness and comfortability. It will do if you spend the least amount of time there is as possible, but avoid if you can.

It’s a property that should be shut down and demolished!

The entire place was filthy and smelled awful. Especially the cigarette smoke - whereas my Res specifically said NON-SMOKING. All I needed was a place to sleep while I was sailboat racing, and I would been better off sleeping outside.

Everything was great

Location Rooms were dirty, found a dog bone in our bed by the pillow. The beds looked slepted in. Walls had stains like bloody hand prints. Pubic hair in the tub. Yellow stains on tubs like cigarette burns. Room smelled like Marijuana and cigarettes. Room had unfinished repairs. Asked for new sheets waiting 20 min they only had one set for us for 2 rooms with 2 beds in each. Changed sheets in the bed with dog bone. We slep in out clothes and didnt shower cause the place was gross. Mind you, it was 4 bikers staying here and we all wouldn't shower in such a place.

There was a bottom sheet that wasn’t attached anywhere and a flimsy sheet. There was a dead bug on my pillow. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the shower that wasn’t mine. The air conditioning was really loud. The place is rundown for the price, it’s ridiculous. It is nasty. However, the staff are lovely. They deserve better .

Broken rear door which bruised me twice when it banged back. Garbage in the parking lot. No security or onsite cameras, so I had a stranger trying to get into my room- obviously a mistake but it was unnerving. Cockroaches in room. Stained wash cloth. Air conditioning- good. Bed comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave in room, convenient.
