Upon arrival they told us their boiler had broken and that they could happily cancel and refund which they did, very kindly and efficiently

-
Brilliant stay staff friendly as always very much recommended. Can’t recommend enough

The location is perfect and the sea view rooms. The washroom size is quite small.

I did get a single room with a view ... and what a view it was! Watching a beautiful sunrise from my bed was a special bonus. The room was quiet, clean and provided everything I needed. The location is perfect. Long-term parking is not nextdoor but within walking distance and inexpensive. You can explore Newquay perfectly from here. A supermarket is across the street as well. Even though there's no elevator, there was a friendly staff member, who helped me with my heavy suitcase. Checking in was a bit complicated (new system), but in the end everything worked smoothly and easily.

Loved the friendly staff breakfast was lovely and the views were outstanding There wasn't anything we didn't like

Good location. Close to beach, shops and public transport. Great staff. Good value.

There was only 1 toilet between 10 of us and the lock was broken on the door. 2 showers, but again, a broken lock. The floor was covered in sand and the bathroom had only had a cursory wipe. Also, unlike most hostels, there is no communal area with a kettle/microwave/fridge etc which is a shame. People who book hostels often also don't want to eat out for all meals but you have to here.

The view and location and quiet room. Would have liked a towel but they didn’t say there would be so can’t complain.

The beach was just a minute away, the views were stunning. I was a bit cautious that there was just one bathroom on the floor but I never had to wait. The shower was hot. I asked to change my bunk bed to get a bottom one, and it was accommodated. I wish they had curtains around the beds for privacy.

It's a fire death trap. It's dirty and everything requires maintenance.
-
My friend and I stayed in a private room, the view was incredible. The room was basic but had everything we could need and was very clean. Staff were friendly and it's in a perfect location, right in the middle of the town, easy to walk to any beaches/restaurants/bars. Food at the restaurant downstairs was really nice and a good price.
