ibis Nice Centre Notre Dame

Very nice staff workers Almost everything from the moment we checked in very hot rooms. There was no safe on the room no Minnie bar one small room with two small bed very uncomfortable mattress which sliding from the bed to the floor. One of the room AC wasn’t working I keep telling them and they said it’s gonna take time second day. They give me one fan which you seen the picture broken fan. They told me they don’t have a room all booked up Thursday third day they change my room to other room which also as he was bad then they changed me to different room, which was really OK but I was leaving that day. They just keep saying I’m sorry I’m sorry there was no ice as you see on the picture. One small machine which is OK for one small family, making ice most of the time empty and the breakfast it wasn’t that special to be honest it depends where you go from but in order it was a regular breakfast. There was one soap in the shower same thing for the hand wash. It was the worst hotel I have ever seen in my whole life and I do travel all the time because of my job and this is number one worst one and the price is very high for that kind of hotel which if you call it hotel it’s more like a motel cheap motel and please with the manager who’s gonna answer my comment I am sorry we’re gonna do our best to fix it. If you wanted to fix it you would’ve fix it two years ago because I see most people complain on the review and steal your fixing it. I don’t know what is it you’re fixing it just don’t bother to answer. Thank you. To answer the manager just look at picture of room with old fashion broken fan. That’s how they fix the hot room bad ac problem.

Location was good, close to the main train station, and the main avenue of Nice, lots of restaurants and stores. The room, bathroom and closet are too small for the rates this hotel charges. They mentioned "toiletries and hair dryer in the bathroom " but there was basically just soap, and the hair dryer looks like from 1920's, no person with hair would be able to use that. I had to go to a hair salon to wash and dry my hair. For IBIS company which is a big chain, I expected more (a hair dryer must Cost like what 15 euros? Couldn't they update those?? For the price of the room, yes, they should!!!! They also gave us 4 hangers, for a 5 night stay, for two people!!, and we could barely fit clothes of one person in there, no drawers or other storage. I would not recommend this place.

And they have free coffee 24/7 No ACs is working. It was hot inside. Couldn’t get sleep

Room had a musty smell of stale odour

Free coffee, all facilities are renovated, friendly staff (always available), and of course the location parallel to jean medecin st. & 5 min walking from nice ville No enough facilities in the room (kettle, minibar).

Quite far from beaches

I stayed here a week and it was perfectly pleasant. It looked like my room had been recently renovated, and it was pristine. The amenities were nice, including a vanity table in the large bathroom. Breakfast was good, and I appreciated the coffee machine being available all day. The staff was kind and the location was overall convenient for Nice (a bit far from the more touristy areas, but that didn’t bother me). I stayed on the top floor, which meant it was quiet, but my roof sloped in both the bedroom and bathroom. I only hit my head once but someone taller than me would have a lot of trouble. If you are tall, maybe mention that as a request.

The hotel is centrally located, with friendly staff, clean rooms, and an excellent breakfast. There is no minibar in the rooms, and it would be helpful to provide single-use toothpaste.

Breakfast was a bit too expensive given the variety. The staff was not super friendly.

Location was good as used the train station every day The beds seemed smaller than a single bed. Mattress topper was on top. Thought that we would have a coffee machine in the room but it was downstairs which once I was showered and changed I didn’t really fancy going downstairs to get a hot drink or vice versa in the morning

The location was good It was tatty. Our bathroom had a horrible drain smell coming from the shower plug. It needs tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the internet was no good
