Best location in Vence, the room has a great view. Spacious and comfortable room in a historic building is very clean and beautiful. Check in is easy. Good communication with the owner. All is good

The property is obviously historic, and well maintained to keep the original character. When selecting such a hotel you have to accept the fact that certain luxuries are not going to be available. There was no lift, lighting was dim and difficult in the stairway for my aging eyes. The rooms have no air conditioning but for this time of year that was OK. The main draw was the dining. We had a dinner selection that was cooked in the fireplace of the dining room right before your eyes. Considering the historic nature of this hotel, it was what we expected.

We love the story of a family owned hotel. It has history and a fabulous location and restaurant. We love everything except the pillows were hard and flat.

I stayed 4 nights with my mother in September. Beautiful property and room on the top floor. Particularly outstanding was the cleanliness of our room and bathroom. Breakfast had to be ordered separately and was plentiful. The owner, Sandrine, was very friendly and helpful. The associated restaurant is not open daily but I knew that and we also wanted to try a couple of the other restaurants nearby. Vence is a great base for day trips in the Nice area. If using public transportation, however, be prepared for the additional time. It is excellent but cost us lots of time. We both were very pleased, but my mom had a couple of minor complaints. She thought the mattress was too hard which caused her some discomfort in the morning (she’s 78). We were a little embarrassed having to ask for additional coffee and baguette every morning as we don’t care for croissants. But again, minor issues and almost not noteworthy.

The Auberge des Seigneurs is a small family run hotel in the city centre. It is in an old 18th century building so we didn't mind the lack of a lift, air conditioning and parking spaces. Our room was a good size, with clean renovated bathroom, and the room was carefully made up giving attention to the details. We were also served a lovely evening meal in the hotel - a most enjoyable stay.

Sandrine was very welcoming and gave us really good instructions about where to park. The room was lovely and the town gorgeous. We were able to visit St Paul le Vence and the amazing musuem with loads of Miro nearby. The town of Vence is lovely and there are many cafes etc. The whole area is very built up and full of too many rich people!

Friendly staff and excellent restaurant.

Very close to the main square and also close to a paid parking lot. Room was impeccably clean and very big. Bathroom was very nice with excellent shower.

Exceptional

Auberge des Seigneurs was like a dream from another era. Danielle and Sandrine were charming beyond words and the chef in the kitchen is a master. My dinner at the Inn was one of the best I’ve ever had, truly. My two nights here were bliss and will always be a happy place in my mind and heart. I would love to return. It is the ultimate opportunity for a very special stay in a very special town. I hope it will always stay this way. I was in the Renoir room where the artist once lived and worked.

The service was excellent - the rooms simple and clean, with fresh fruit and flowers to welcome you. Plus, we loved the “concierge” dog, Kash, one of the owners’ dogs. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and it was outstanding. Overall, it was a perfect stay. We felt like family. No AC and no elevator should be noted by potential guests who are bothered by heat, or can’t carry luggage up/down stairs. For us. It wasn’t an issue though. It was hot (July) during our trip, but fans at night fixed the issue.
