Nice Garden Hôtel

This hotel is very cozy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely little garden where guests can relax, and the entire property is very clean.

Location I stayed at Nice Garden Hotel for five nights. During my trip through France and Italy, I stayed at several 3-star hotels, and unfortunately this was my least satisfactory experience. The biggest disappointment was the service. The receptionist was consistently unfriendly and unhelpful during my stay. When I asked how to use the in-room safe, I was simply told to "read the instructions," but there were no instructions provided in the room. When I discovered that my window would not close for two days, I asked for assistance. The same receptionist came to my room, moved my luggage with her foot to reach the window, closed it without saying a word, and left without putting my luggage back. I found this behavior unprofessional and discourteous. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. My towels were not replaced until I specifically requested fresh ones. The garden, which is featured in the hotel's name and photos, also appeared poorly maintained during my stay. Instead of a welcoming garden with flowers, there were mostly dead leaves, which was disappointing. The location is convenient, but based on my experience, I do not feel the overall service and maintenance matched the standard I expected from a 3-star hotel. I hope the management will improve staff training, housekeeping, and the upkeep of the property, as these changes would make a significant difference for future guests.

The staff, especially Yulia (Julia), was wonderful. She could not do enough to make sure our stay was excellent. The rooms are all on the ground floor which helped with heavy luggage. When we hadn’t committed to breakfast the first morning, she went out to the local bakery for more croissants and bread for us. Everything was done with a smile and concern to ensure we had a good stay. It is a basic 3-star hotel… nothing NOT to dislike but nothing fancy.

Perfect hospitality, location, awesome garden, very quiet and cozy!

The hotel has a great location and a style that makes you feel "at home". The furniture and amenities in the room seem to be relatively inexpensive, so you need to be careful when using them to avoid damaging them.

I chose this property for the location to the promenade and restaurants. Also loved the access to the garden.

I especially liked the garden inside and garden across the street! Both had many lovely blooms to enjoy. The hotel window view to see back side of garden storage was not the best.

Initially, I was taken aback by some issues regarding the staff. But after speaking with the owner and hearing her story about how she just took over and is working very hard to bring the hotel experience up to where it should be, I was so impressed at not only how hard she's trying to make it perfect but also how she was so receptive to feedback. I hope more travelers give this hotel a chance and hopefully this business can soon blossom into everything she dreams of!

Location, clean, bright, lovely staff No soundproofing between rooms so although my neighbors were quiet except for some tv at night and in am - did get a bit disturbed. But this is my thing I hate listening to others tv!

The property was so cute! Our room had a door that opened right into the garden. Just so pretty! The rooms are very small and the bathroom was covered in black mold. For this reason I cannot recommend a stay here.

Quaint, charming, unique, great location, garden, friendly staff There was mold in the bathroom and no bidet. For this price I think we could have found a cleaner spot. Location was definitely great and we were lucky to have parking consistently across the street, but all in quite a touristy area, mind.

The breakfast was great and the staff was helpful. We were especially impressed with the detailed records you had of our original booking. There was nothing we didn’t like.

We had a room for 3 and it was spacious. The ceiling was very high and the windows were big so it felt a lot bigger and lighter. The hotel has a beautiful garden where you can sit and relax among trees and flowers.
