The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was convenient. City view rooms are noisy at night.

The carpet

Location within walking distance to old town and beach. The terrace for breakfast. The pillows are very hard and flat, I expect little better quality.

Beautiful location with fabulous garden. Nothing.

Quiet lovely location

The location is fairly close to the train station and beaches. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our Superior Double room was on the 2nd floor facing the garden and was fairly quiet. The breakfast was available in the garden and was ok. Unfortunately, pigeons were flying around constantly disturbing the guests. This is definitely not a 4star hotel, totally overpriced. The photographs on the hotel's website are misleading. The atmosphere in the hallways is dark and sombre with depressing commercial carpeting that continues into the rooms. The single small elevator is used by guests as well as housekeeping. The furniture in our room was cheap and the wardrobe was covered with heavy drapes The bathroom was poor and the shower was leaking onto the floor.

very good breakfast, lovely garden for relaxing in. friendly and helpful staff. nothing

The breakfast and back garden were nice. Most of the staff was quite good. The room was awful and not worthy of 4 stars, or even 3. Old gray dirty carpet was not to standard. Room Smelled badly upon arrival. Tiny closet size and musty! bathroom with clear water damage because of the wonky shower. A room with 3 beds needs a larger bath for sure. I asked for another room, but the only option felt like that of a hostel…small and dark and bad vinyl plank flooring (properties should not renovate to this material, it always feels cheap). We chose to keep wi does open for fresh air. Lobby needs an upgrade. This is another case where photos were taken years ago but do not represent the current condition of the property.

Not well maintained, some of the staff

Beautiful, older building with loads of character. The lobby was very inviting. Outside in the back we enjoyed a lovely patio and yard for breakfast. We would have loved to have made a glass of wine work later in the day, but our schedule did not allow. Walkable to everything! Be sure to secure chairs at the beach club, which is less than a 10 minute walk.

Liked it all.

The quiet street, great location, beautiful garden and exceptionally clean. Very friendly and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast!

Property not well maintained. There was a problem with the light switch . It was not repaired, though we told them in the first day.

The hotel is located on a tree-lined residential street parallel to the Promenade des Anglais, a 5-min walk from Avenue Jean-Medicin and a 10-min walk from the train station. The garden-facing room was large and offered a beautiful view of the hotel garden. There are several beach restaurants close by, we had lunch at the Beau Rivage. The hotel staff is friendly and provided us with all the information we needed. The hotel was older than the pictures depicted & is need of renovation. The beds particularly are too soft and the pillows are hard, the mattresses need to be replaced. The breakfast is not worth the money they charge (Eur 17), there is a fantastic boulangerie at 5 min walking distance (Maison Armand) that serves a complete breakfast for Eur 9. There are also several beach-facing restaurants that serve breakfast from a croissant with coffee to full English breakfast.

Good all around Everything

The price! I realise it was NYE but it was such bad value for money. The photos on the website did not reflect the reality.

.The shower didn't have a door and water leaked at times.

Every thing was perfect but staff is the best

The hotel is in a great location. However, the room we booked on Booking.com was not like the photos it was quite small. We didn’t have a garden view. Compared to the high ratings it has, it didn’t meet our expectations. It’s possible that there are nicer rooms, but this was the last option available on Booking. I wouldn’t mention anything in particular.
