Motel 6 Norfolk, VA – East Little Creek

I had booked a non-smoking deluxe room (I selected the newly renovated one when booking) and they put me in a smoking room that was run down and dirty. The man at the front desk did put me in a better room but for some reason I had to pay $10 on top of the money I had already spent on the room just to get placed in a room I had originally booked. The staff was nice but I could have done without the smell of cigarette smoke everywhere in the building.

If you have allergies or asthma, this isn't the place. The smell of cigarettes is everywhere. I didn't see any bugs, even after checking all over, and I hope it stays that way. The bed sheets, yuck. We arrived late and were exhausted, which is why we didn't leave earlier, but I'm glad to be gone now.

The ice machine worked and the room was not too disgusting. Hotel in disrepair. Guests playing loud music late at night. Front desk refused to give us a Do Not Disturb sign and housekeepers knocked on our door early in the morning - said we ¨had to have housekeeping come in the room every day because I had a service animal. $100+/night is a ridiculous price for a dump like this.

The front office staff Harish was very good and polite, the room was clean n nice, plenty of parking, the daily rate was reasonable for our 3 day stay, we stayed in a non smoking room which was in the new block and well maintained, good lighting, clean sheets, and air con was nice with the Norfolk weather at this time..

Room was very clean. Some basics were missing-Kleenex, shampoo, etc

The place didn’t look like nothing from the photos. Everything was old in the room. I couldn’t even use the hdmi for my electronic items. The bathroom tub passing was coming off. I was expected to stay two days but I only stay one night and left at 6am. Couldn’t get a refund for the second night because I order from Expedia instead of walking in. A waste of time and a total joke.

The property is very clean and the rooms look really nice but the outer structure it looks like I’m about to crumble. I guess it’s due to the saltwater from the ocean and the humidity but the foundation is very scary looking..

Nothing Disgusting and door was wide open to my room when I got in, also a 50 dollar security charge thats nog stated in booking. Com added to pay. I think bed bugs or whichever bugs are in my room because I was bit

This hotel is right on a busy strip with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The bathroom were recently renovated, The outside of the hotel is falling apart. It was rundown, the cement walkways were broken and uneven. There was a bag of trash outside on the walkway. The sheets were stained and there was very little water pressure.

First thing we noticed was that the pillows didn't have clean pillowcases on them (no pillowcases at all). The person in the office was very helpful and got them immediately. The bed was hard as a rock unfortunately. Room was fairly quiet but the property itself was pretty run down.
