Tru by Hilton Charleston Ashley Phosphate

We stayed there from 6/6/26-6/8/26. This was my first time staying at this chain of hotel and I will way I was absolutely satisfied. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommend. I will be back for sure.

The room was spacious, clean and inviting. The front desk was helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was not great. The grits were soupy, empty sauage hot plate and only served pork. Turkey would have been an option, coffee and varieties of tea were good. Overall the breakfast was fair.

8/10. Ideal if you want a place close to the airport. Staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Be prepared to have a minimum 30+ minute drive to anywhere. This hotel is also not in a great part of town. Restaurant selection in the immediate area isn’t great.

I did not like that they let animals (dogs) stay in rooms.

10 out of ten will stay again, very quiet and safe environment, polite staff great amenities.

breakfast was good , the room needed a wall clock, what we had was a 3'x 3' small clock.on the night stand , could not see what time it was.

Breakfast was mediocre the meats should have been cooked a little longer and the grits need to be consistent some days they were very watery.

The desk clerk was very friendly. The room.was very nice and bed was comfortable only thing the pillows was top soft. The housekeeper wss nice and helpful. Now on the breakfast was everything the pancakes was hot and the eggs and grits was made perfect..I will stay again when I visit Charleston.

Budget it hotel that has enough extras to keep everyone happy. Building is newer and the rooms are nice and clean. Lobby was fun, with a pool table and plenty of seating. Breakfast was solid. Staff was polite, but were often away from the front desk. The area is very busy, but a lot of food options.
