Fox Ridge Resort

The property needs maintenance. The breakfast was poor. The property has a lot of potencial, but needs to be better cleaned and maintenance.

Bathroom light was broken. The taff wouldn't fix it. Gave us a very small flashlight to use instead. Didn't work. Had to shower in the dark during our entire stay.

Ok for a night, but the shower left a lot to desire, and the pool areas made me feel like I should get a tetanus shot. Bedding seemed clean enough. But again probably would not stay again unless in a pinch. None of the children minded so was again fine for an evening.

Love this place! Can’t wait to get back.

The room was nice and clean. Nice balcony attached to it. The breakfast was decent, I’d say it’s your average hotel breakfast. The downer was I was looking forward to using the Hot tub but it was broken. I didn’t find that out until I got there.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was a basic continental the indoor pool the hot tub was broken. They do need to replace a bunch of lights going in and out of the property. They do need to do some extra weeding.

The pools looked good(we did not use). Resort had great view. Our room did not. Our room had a wet floor and smelled liked it had been flooded. Room was extremely dated. Breakfeast was bare minimum. I would not recommend staying here unless the pool is your goal

We arrived to the property. Front desk staff were very nice. The property was very dated and not maintained well since the last time we visited 8 years ago. We went in our room and is was absolutely disgusting. It had a terrible smell. No comforter on the bed. Only a dirty mattress cover. Most of the games in the arcade were broken. The water in the indoor pool looked dirty. We checked out immediately and demanded a refund. We will not be back.

Room was dirty and old. holes in wall and blood on blanket.

I bet this place was beautiful when it first opened but it needs some some refurbishing/upkeep. I booked it for the hot tub which was broken and sounds like not being fixed anytime soon. That being said, the room was clean, breakfast was adequate, and the staff was great. We had fun playing mini golf and the pools are very large. We enjoyed our stay but definitely wished I had seen it when it first opened.

This place is hard to describe. It has a retro vintage ski lodge/family car trip feel - like we should have rolled up in a station wagon. The property is beautiful - it would be great for turning the kids loose to play on the grounds, and to enjoy the huge well-maintained pool, etc. Good breakfast and nice spaces (screened porch) to relax with a book. The big drawback is that the property is outdated and needs some upgrades. The mattresses were not the greatest, the parking area is dark and a little unsafe feeling, and our toilet didn’t flush efficiently. Overall a good stay - mainly because it was a beautiful space and a beautiful day. Go enjoy the outdoors!

When we walked into the room, we had an order of cigarettes and wet dog. The walls were pretty gross, especially by the trashcan. There was hair on the bathroom door and all over the bathroom. We stayed there about 10 minutes and left.

Rooms very outdated!!! False advertising stating that there was a Waterpark on the premises! Mini Golf and Playscape falling apart!!! Outdoor pool in need of desperate help.. weeds growing around pool edge and mortar around pool falling in! Indoor pool was dirty and in need of good cleaning. Also hot tub was not usable and out of service! I feel like this was a rundown motel and we were catfished on hopes of entertainment for our family! The staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂!

At one point this place must have been beautiful. Nice view of the mountains but the place is very outdated. The pool paint is all chipped. The pools were very dirty. The pictures shown are nothing like the place looks. Outside the grounds were unkept, the paint on the trim was all chipped, the buildings are more brown than white in the pictures, the mini golf course was very run down. Inside the building was outdated as well, they need to do some serious renovations at this place. I only stayed one night, less than 12 hours and really considered cutting my loss and going to a hotel down the road. I would not recommend staying here.

This property is so disgusting. Indoor pool was green. The hallways to the room were ridden with spiders and garbage bags filled with dirty linens. The room smelled like cigarettes and the bedding looked dirty. We actually checked right back out and didn’t even stay.

Needs an update, no usb connections for electronics, no room coffee pots as stated, beds where comfortable, breakfast was ok, AC was real noisy, couldn’t get out to Balcony because dead bolt lock was jammed. Over all it was ok for 1 night.

Staff was super nice, unfortunately are room when we checked in wasn’t the cleanest. There was hair all over the wall in the shower and hair globs on the floor in the room. Parking was good, breakfast was good. The pools were falling apart and made me a little worried with my little one.

I wouldnt rave about the breakfast. But, it may have just been an off day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was decent and thats what matters to me.

The place has really fallen apart, it’s not well maintained at all. We have stayed here a few times before a few years ago and I can’t believe how rundown it looks now.

I arrived at this property and driving up the long driveway, you can see that the property is poorly maintained. Upon entering the first room, it was evident the room had not been cleaned or was poorly cleaned. I asked the front desk for a new room and he brought me to one with fingernails on the nightstand and drink stains. The roof is rotting, the carpets are disgusting.
