Mikado Hotel - Universal Studios/Burbank

The hotel is okay in general but it needs remodeling or at least some care. It seems that it had it's golden days before but didn't keep up.

Something simple, nice location.

It's a quiet comfy place, staff is very welcoming, hotel area is clean, room is basic, actually kind of small but works, bes is comfortable, you only get the most basic stuff, there's a fridge and microwave wich is a plus, is not the newest place, had the basic amenities but is clean, safe, quiet, close to everything, the one thing i dont actually like is that they charge for parking 10dlls

Clean and well maintained hotel. Great value for a quick overnight stay. Very friendly staff.

Its an old hotel hope they will renovate it

We stayed there for two nights, and it was alright. It’s convenient because it’s close to Universal Studios. It needs some renovation and you can hear everything from the rooms near you. It was pretty clean and the stuff was nice. They make you pay $10 per day per vehicle for a way too tight parking space. Breakfast is literally a coffee and a juice machine and a couple Costco granola bars, if you want anything else you have to pay for it. Its ok if just need a place to sleep.

Location. The pool We have stayed at Mikado many times over.20+ years. The rooms were clean and fresh. Breakfast was included. Parking was free. All the facilities worked. Not any more. It's been a steady decline except for the price. Sadly, we won't be coming back.8

First of all there is no free breakfast as listed, they forgot and were not able to provide blankets, and there was a parking charge we did not know about. The stay could have been much better.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Staff helpful. Room dated and outside shabby. Both could use some renovation.

The plumbing was dated; the toilet kept clogging. Some maintenance needed in the bathroom area.

Everything was good, the pool was super clean but they should not put breakfast included , instead “ tea, coffee, juice & snack bar included for breakfast “

It was very clean, and centrally located

It is walking distance to a few restaurants. The chocolate mousse at Hugo's was very good.

One of my favorite hotels to go to for a quick weekend trip to SoCal. Great service!

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and great location.
