DoubleTree Resort & Spa by Hilton Ocean Point-N. Miami Beach

It was really nice beach front hotel to stay in Miami. We spent 4 nights there and eveything was as stated on the site.

Very slow older style elevators at times was lengthy weights with maid services, using the same elevators as the guest

Reported no hot water in the shower for three consecutive days! Will not recommend this hotel . One of Hilton's worst

We loved staying here! It was so beautiful and the view of the ocean was gorgeous. We were upgraded to a newly renovated 2 bedroom, ocean view suite, only because our original room was not ready. Trust me, we did not complain. The suite was so much more than I could ever imagine! We will definitely be back, especially because my boyfriend of almost 13 years finally proposed to me on the beach, right in front of your palm trees. Everything was so perfect!!

Location was awesome. The room was clean and spacious.

The guy Jesus at check in was not very helpful gave us wrong room at first for a family of 4 he checked us into a king and was distracted by the soccer game. The rest of the staff were very amazing. Especially Geraldine in restaurant. She was amazing and so sweet. We all really loved her. Also there was a wonderfully kind lady at front desk last night her name started with a K but i can’t remember her name. She was so kind and told us about concerts in the area with Pit Bull. She really cared about us and wished to give us pointers on all the places to go and enjoy our time. She was in early 30s or late 20s African American. She’s amazing!!

Staff were wonderful. Room was needing repairs. Tried to open one of the balcony doors and the frame fell off and the door wouldn’t open. Only 2 towels in room for 4 people. Not enough linens until requested. Tv in bedroom was glitching constantly. I prefer my rooms more clean than what I got. Loved the washer/dryer availability. The beach amenities were great. Didn’t use the pool but plenty of people were. Loved the welcome cookies.

The bathroom water pressure in the shower and bathroom sink was poor.

- Location - Balcony views - Beach access - Terrace - Starbucks coffee on premise - Unfriendly staff at checkout. - I was made to load all my family’s suitcase in front of of my wife my son and my two infant daughters. No help provided, staff was watching the whole process from close by. - poor access to Collins Ave - The building is heavily degraded, surprised they still have the rights to the Hilton brand label : ) - No active support during the stay, we had to find out everything on our own, very little to no explanation/guidance provided. We felt like being there without being there. Poor stay, we’re planning on coming back to Miami this week for a few days, we’ve already made a booking at a different Hotel. I don’t think we’ll ever come back.
