Baymont by Wyndham N Myrtle Beach/Park & Sports Complex Area

It was very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast good and the pool was open. Great value for the cost. Very close to the ocean also.

We stayed in Rm 122. The room was always damp, to the point our clothes and bed always felt damp to touch. We also believe there was black mold growing along the ceiling seam where it met one of the walls. I have pictures of this. Our toilette also over flowed but maintenance did come and fix it. We had to get new card keys on a daily basis, sometimes twice in the same day. Breakfast is mediocre at best. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

They say that the rooms have been renovated, but in my opinion, they are still a little bit outdated. The beds aren’t very comfortable. However, the cleaning crew does an amazing job and the other employees are very pleasant. Breakfast is very simple and the same every day. The pool had a green tint to it so I’m not sure if that’s being maintained so we decided to just go to the beach. The hotel felt very safe and near just about any shopping area or restaurant you may want.

This was just my experience so may be different for others. First day I had to have help opening the door. I feel pretty silly but never thought to lift door handle up instead of down to open door. Few hours later had representative reprogram TV because of a device update. Last straw was next day needing room key reprogrammed because both stopped working. I will say the staff was super nice and we laughed a bunch at the issues but sorry I won't be back.

The only issue I am having is the payment. I had Hotels.com take entire payment up front like I requested. I was charged. BUT when I got to the property and checked in they needed my credit card for the $50 deposit he said that would be refundable. I understand that 100% BUT they also have another pending amount for $229.03 on my credit card still and this is almost 5 days later. Both of these deposits should have dropped off my account already so I’m a bit concerned having my money tied up.

Staff was very friendly upon check in; there were some remnants of prev visitors in our bathroom; our room had no coffee maker, but coffee cups available; and the breakfast was not as the hyped up description on hotels.com. Checkout was very simple & friendly though.

The room and location were great. The breakfast was not good. Nothing there. The man setting up the breakfast was not friendly at all. We felt like a bother to him. We only pick hotels with breakfast for convenience and economics.

The location, cleanliness and courteous staff. The beds were hard to sleep on.

I thought the facility was clean. It was quiet. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff was kind and considerate and wonderful. Samuel was wonderful. He was the front desk clerk, and he was absolutely fantastic. I thought the property was great!

Love this place. Remodeled and clean. Good location..

The rooms could have been cleaner. No one should see greasy finger prints on the desk and cabinets from prior people. We were just there one night but still it should be clean.
