Oasis Hotel

We got there the places looked ok. The toilet had the “sanitized” strip on it. I lifted the seat there was yellow stains all over it. We looked at the beds and there were dry crusty stains on there so we took the sheet off and tried to look past it. Went out the balcony and there was “cigarette” butts left behind. We left and came back to sleep there was roaches every where. I tried to ignore it and keep stuff off the floor. My baby’s car seat was placed at a high level and I saw a bug crawling out of it. Roaches were on walls ceiling sinks night stands EVERYWHERE.

The only positives were the view and the gentleman who checked us in. He was very friendly, helpful, and came right away to assist us. Unfortunately, the building was in terrible condition and very dirty, from the outside to the inside. The lobby smelled disgusting, the hallways were nasty, the doors needed cleaning, and there was a hole in the ceiling near the entrance. The elevator also smelled extremely bad. We could not use the swimming pool because a family nearby was playing loud music and making a lot of noise. The pool itself looked clean, but the hallway leading to it was filthy. The room was also disappointing. The carpet was so dirty that I had to wear socks because I could not step on it barefoot.Shower did not work properly: water kept running from the lower tap, the water would not properly reach the showerhead, and the pressure was very low.Bathtub was dirty, with dark residue around it.The towels looked clean, but I was uncomfortable using them.Sheets had stains, although they smelled clean, so we used our own pillows and blanket instead.Patio door was difficult to open and seemed broken.The lamps were dirty, one tall lamp was broken, and the patio lights were broken and rusty.There were only two patio chairs. There was a microwave, coffee maker, and TV, but I did not feel comfortable using them because of the overall cleanliness. The Wi-Fi did work, which was a positive. Overall, the property needs serious cleaning, maintenance, and renovation.

The ice machine was broken and never replaced, they were baby roaches in the room, it was impossible to adjust the shower to warm it was either boiling hot or cold.

don’t always believe everything you see online. this hotel was amazing for my birthday weekend, the ocean view was amazing & the staff was very helpful & the hotel was clean. I would book again 10/10

So if you are not used to low budget..avoid this place. It is being held together with screws and nails. The bathrooms are nasty. The best part was the ocean view and terrace! We went to dollar store and got our own pillows and sheets..

there needs to be more staff at this hotel. you’re paying for what you see. rooms are outdated, there’s barely any service in this hotel. tv works sometimes only when wifi isn’t weak.

I drove overnight from Ontario to come here and the pool was closed. Grounds were filthy. And they won’t respond to Expedia for a refund even though I never stayed. Bunch of crooks.

Luckily we were only stopping by to stay for one night before we got on the road so it was just a place to sleep. It is right on the beach but the price is way too much for what you get when you feel uncomfortable and have to put your own blankets down on the bed to sleep comfortably because you're worried about bed bugs or something.

This property is literally on the beach. You walk from your room, through a brief path, and you and the ocean commune. The views are stunning. Balcony is pleasant. You get to listen to the ocean as you drift off to sleep. The rooms are a decent size and clean, but not well maintained. There is no fridge. Appliances in the room are in disrepair. Faucet comes off in the bathroom. Lamps with rust that looks like something else. Broken table glass on the balcony. Carpet with stains. The TV in the room was new, however. It is the embodiment of no frills. I enjoyed using a physical key to open and lock the door. Nostalgic! It’s the place you stay, if you’re visiting for one night, passing through town. Not unpleasant, but not exactly comfortable. Checkout is 10am. The views and ocean easy access make the stay worth it, But the rooms can definitely use some TLC and updating.

Motel was u understaff Had to change rooms to many times, rooms smelled of mold gave me a headache, bed sheets where dirty with stains matteres and pillows had mold, bathrooms where filthy roaches were everywhere, pool was dirty, elevator smelled of mold my mobile device kept loosing service but would work fine if I was on the beach. Will not stay again

Every room is oceanfront, and the view from the balcony is absolutely incredible. Our room was clean, the sheets were clean I checked them with a UV light the air conditioning worked, the door locked properly, and housekeeping provided fresh towels when we needed them. The property definitely needs maintenance. Our balcony had mold and algae on the concrete, the bathroom exhaust fan did not work, there was no light at the entrance of the room, and I did not see a smoke detector. The biggest issue was check-in. After booking through Expedia, I learned that check-in supposedly ended at 7:00 p.m. The hotel did not answer the main phone, but when we arrived around 11:00 p.m., there was another number posted on the office door. The gentleman who answered was very nice and got us checked in without any trouble. Overall, manage your expectations. This is not a luxury hotel, but our room was clean and secure, the price was deeply discounted, and the oceanfront location is hard to beat. Four stars based on the value.

Beach view non smoking room not saved for us as promised. Used towel hanging over shower rod, Bathroom door not repaired so it could close. Room smelled of mold and cigarettes

It was a blessing. The place is an absolute dump! It should be taken off of every booking site. So we paid double somewhere else

Roaches everywhere. Lamps, chairs,and dressers was broken. Carpet wet and sticky. We never unpacked and left 20 mins after checking in. This place needs to be tore down.

The ONLY staff here the entire time was the maintenance man. He was trying to run the office and do his job simultaneously. Once, I heard a maid scream to a guest "ARE YOU CHECKIN OUT OR WHAT?" The room was so disgusting it was infested with roaches, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, the sink was rotted out, the balcony door would not lock and barely closed and the bed was disgusting. After the first night, my fiancé woke up sick. The worst part of all is we were forced to stay or lose our money because they REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND. I met 4guests that packed up and left within minutes of checking in. I wish I was well off enough to have been able to walk away from the money I would have lost. I requested a refund for the second night at checkout after the first night and was denied. To add insult to injury, I paid $290.86 for 2 nights and the same exact room was listed online for $74 per night after I checked in. Not only was I charged DOUBLE the rate but they refuse to give a refund once you realize the pictures they post are COMPLETE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! This hotel is worse than the people trying to sell extended car waranties.

The front desk associate was incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, and I can honestly say those sheets were bleached down to the gods—they smelled fresh and looked spotless. The ocean view from our room was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Is this the most luxurious place in Myrtle Beach? No. But if you're looking for a clean, affordable place for a quick beach getaway, it absolutely gets the job done. Considering the price, I was happy with my stay, and I'd definitely come back again. Sometimes it's not about perfection—it's about good service, a clean room, and waking up to a beautiful view. This place delivered on those things.
