Great location!

Good location. Rooms very spacious. Stayed in room 41. Fridge was dirty. Glasses were dirty. Only one white robe provided for a couple of two. Skirting boards were dirty. Staff decided to scrape weeds outside at 7.30am which woke us up. This continued for around an hour. Cleaner was cleaning the room next to us at 9am and was outside our door bring extremely loud talking someone on the phone for a good 20 mins.

Great hotel with excellent food, friendly helpful staff who welcome cyclists. Good safe storage for the bikes. Really good value for a top hotel experience. The food was amazing too.

Dinner service dreadful. Had to wait one hour to be served my starter. Mains pointless as lost appetite by then.

Big rooms and beautiful food

Furniture was extremely out dated. A discoloured sofa in middle of the room was weird

Unfortunately during my stay there were horrendous noisy people in the rooms by mine so didn't get to sleep much before midnight and was woken with horrendous noise at 4.15am with doors being banged and loud noise was very disappointing that people don't respect the fact that some of us wanted to sleep, room was ok but very old fashioned and mould on shower curtain and on grouting, bathroom floor was grubby, dust in corners needed a hoover, checkin was a bit of a hassle as no one on reception and rang the number provided three times no answer, so stood for 15minutes before staff arrived

Good location friendly staff nice food

The room was pretty good. Being an older style hotel the rooms are actually quite large, which makes a difference from many nowdays. check in was easy and staff very accommodating. I needed a few things kept chilled overnight and as there are no fridges in the rooms asked them to keep in the kitchen, which was no problem Plenty of parking available on sight. Had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice, my only criticism would be that the service was somewhat slow. definitely a couple of staff members that need a little bit of service training. Overall the restaurant was very good though.

Polite staff Mould in bathroom Shockingly long wait for breakfast - over an hour from ordering - which was then inedible upon arrival (raw sausage, too salty to eat spinach, cold toast, had to request butter which took a long time to arrive, requested replacement toast which did not appear)

Excellent clean and spacious room. Very quiet and peaceful. Good amenities. Convenient parking. Although the meal at the restaurant was excellent and the servers did their best, the wait to be served was unreasonable, given that we'd reserved. We ordered promptly and waited a half hour, after which a group arrived and was served immediately. Apparently, group satisfaction is more important than individual diners. We finally got our dinner order 45 min. after we ordered our simple, one-course meal. A pity.

The shower curtain wasn't long enough so the water over spilled onto the floor, plus the toilet seat was loose.

The breakfast was very nice and hot. Good service from the waitress who brought us extra toast. Nice clean table, not too many people so nice and relaxed The carpet In restaurant was stained as to be expected with food dropping often. Maybe a laminate floor would be easier to keep clean. The houses next door had a barking dog.
-
Good ratio of quality and price Executive room is spacious and includes bath Great breakfast: apart from English one with Veg option, 'eggs' choice (benedict, etc) plus some cold additions (yogurt, cereals, fruits) Free parking with enough places Executive room could have a fridge

Always stay here, if possible, when working in Bridgwater. Staff have always been brilliant, rooms spacious and comfortable, and probably one of the best breakfast menus of all the hotels we use. The lounge area is a perfect spot for our personnel to relax and unwind after a show. Once again, thank you for making us welcome. We will see you again.
