Guest House Kihori Nungwi

Hotel Kihori Nungwi ... the staff are friendly & efficient, especially the breakfast / cleaning crew. Breakfast is different each day & has a great plate of fresh fruit!! Location is excellent ... 1 min walk to the beach! Room size is good with hanging areas outside so you can dry your wet towel & swimming gear. Plus there is a seated area outside each room. Decent value for money in Nungwi ... good spot for when you're busy outside doing lots of different activities. Personally, beds were too soft for me ... mattresses & towels could do with an upgrade ... rooms, fixtures & fittings all feel a little tired! Also I feel having the pictures of water / pools in their hotel photos can create the false impression there is a pool ... which there isn't ... they do state that clearly in their communication once you've booked but my initial selection was because I thought there was a pool.

The location It was good

Breakfast was really good. Beach was on a two minute walk distance. Location is good. Value for money. Friendly staff and very helpful. Cosy atmosphere. restaurants and other amenities very accessible. Bathrooms need some attention. Bed mattress needs an update. Very gloomy in certain areas, need some more lights especially outside the rooms. no glasses on windows hence no privacy when you are in your room. internet connection only in public areas, it was a challenge to access internet in rooms. Too many lizards.

Nach langen Tagen im Freien fand ich das Zimmer sehr gemütlich. Es bot genau die Atmosphäre, die ich mir erhofft hatte.

The location, the breakfast and the Assistant manager Mohammed he made our stay wonderful. The spirogyra on the compound floor must be treated asap. I understand is a raining season but something can be done about it.

Breakfast was very good. And it was served on time, even on the day we left early morning it was available for us.

There are no negative really, it was low season but , still, everything was fine, breakfast was good, the wifi worked well. Its a perfect budget accommodation, for me that need a private room. The beach is very close, as plenty of shops ,cafe , restaurants etc. Don't forget to take your earpods with you in Nungwi, you'll be harassed much less by vendors, sellers, bikers, taxi, tuktuk, pushers tput operators etc etc etc(that what really annoyed me of Nungwi) Nothing

Overall it was a good and easy stay with no problems at all
