Badolina Bungalows

The location in Nungwi was great, the staff amazing, we truly appreciate the honeymoon flower arrangement on the bed! Great oceanfront breakfast as well! They’re reconstructing the restaurant as it got burnt down a few months ago, but it didn’t affect our stay at all.

In one of the rooms, we only had hot water (no cold), but we didn't even ask the staff to fix it, I'm sure they would if we did. The neighborhood currently had trouble with electricity and in the evening hours power was supplied using a generator, but it wasn't that loud.

The room was nice. They provide beach towels. The safe in the room was not working, we asked the staff about it, but they did not fix it during our stay. The shower is clogged. There is no shampoo in the shower. This hotel is NOT beach front as they state! They have access to the beach, but it is overcrowded small, especially during the high tide. We did not like the fruits during the breakfast, the taste was pale, also the juice is either tasteless watermelon or pineapple and neither of them were good. The staff is always busy with their phones or personal stuff. The bed is super hard and also super short (I am 170cm height, and my feet’s were outside the bed).

The location was very nice and conveniently located close to the beach. The rooms were lovely and the place is generally beautiful. It was a good stay and we enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming and it would be nice if the breakfast menu could be expanded a bit. The staff were nice but a bit selective.

Everything was amazing, place is 1 minute away from the beach and the pool is really nice. They have restaurant that serves amazing food and the room itself was amazing! Only 2 minor comments we had as a couple, the room has a lot of ants and for guests who have breakfast included its amazing but they take 30-40 mins since you order to serve you the food so if you have activity in the morning plan accordingly.

Great location to the beach. Loud music on the beach so it’s good to be slightly back from the beach.

Very well located, clean pool & rooms. A la carte breakfast.

Everything was excellent, from the accommodation (I stayed in one of the newer bungalows) to the staff, who were professional, kind, and attentive to guests’ requests. The food was tasty and clearly prepared with care. The atmosphere is quiet if you want a relaxing stay, yet the location is close to several popular spots in town( including the beach) if you feel like going out. If more places were run to this standard, it would be a real boost for tourism. Nothing. Some people might wish to be right on the beach, but in this lively area that would actually be a drawback rather than an advantage.

Friendly staff, Easy check in ( 2:00 am ) was able to park my car Typical Zanzibar mattress foam, to Hard for me. Great omelette Centrally located, minutes from ANANASI day club. Nothing to write about it was good value for money,

A very nice quaint hotel, there is lots around, in a great location. All staff are friendly and made it feel like home. If I return to Zanzibar I would definitely stay here again, it is very affordable for the location.

Location was great. Close to the beach. Walking distance to the local shopping and restaurants. Staff were great. Room was nice & comfortable. Food was amazing. Toilet was a bit tiny. Few insects were in the room. We had to ensure the room was sprayed before we went out. The road leading to the hotel was confusing.

Absolute treat & really well located. Amazing set up, good attention to details, simple & delicious food (I recommend the tuna tartar) but most importantly LOVELY staff, super friendly, helpful & just so welcoming. We will be coming back.

We loved our stay at Badolina and will definitely come back! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and responded promptly to all our enquiries. The pool area with its palm trees had the perfect relaxed vibe. Nungwi Beach is also close by. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Nothing.

the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the place is beautiful and peaceful. The food is good, especially when there isn't much good food around in Nungwi. Not something about the place, but there are many rude merchants in the beach nearby. I recommend to ignore them.
