Gaia Villas is an absolute gem! The lush gardens create a peaceful, tropical atmosphere, and the pool is simply amazing, perfect for relaxing. The staff is exceptional; Issayah was incredibly kind and attentive, and Tanya was wonderful with helping us organize trips and offering great recommendations. Our room was cleaned daily and even sprayed for mosquitos, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was phenomenal with a great variety, plus fresh fruits and juices every morning. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and the diving center. We had such a lovely stay and highly recommend Gaia Villas!

Ample space

It’s a snug space, cozy warm and pleasant. Our host Isaya(pardon my spelling) was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was adequate and filling. Our stay was good. We stayed downstairs but I recommended you stay in the upstairs villas as they’re more spacious. If you love green spaces, you’d absolutely love this. Breakfast options are a bit limited.

The pool was surrounded by plants, so even though there were rooms around, it felt very comfortable while swimming. There is security on the hotel grounds, and they take good care of safety — even when a taxi arrives, they record the driver’s details. -

The noise from the construction around

A very nice accommodation approx 6 min walk to the beach. The apartments are spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly.

Gorgeous place to stay, huge rooms with lots of space, amazing pool area and not far to walk into central Nungwi Nothing

The homely feel, I got sick and they went out of their way to make sure I was ok, got me medicine and dinner delivered to my room. I don’t know if I’d have got that level of care in a chain group hotel. The pool is lovely, note the shade is in the morning and sun on the loungers in the afternoon. The rooms were a little more tired than the photos showed, and some attentions to detail lacking - it is what is says on the tin - and for a quiet and comfortable stay in a homely b&b that is what Gaia is. If you’re looking for a bit more luxury and to be right on the beach - you’d be better looking at paying a bit more and staying with a more renowned brand.

I really enjoyed mu stay in this wonderful oasis. I felt like a part of the family. All the the people running this property were extremely kind. I loved the pool and the jungle vibe with birds singing. The breakfasts were spectacular. The villa is very spacious and clean and comfortable. I would definitely come again! The only possible thing to improve in my opinion is the AC. There is only one AC in the bedroom facing the bed and there is none in the big living room and kitchen so it gets very hot (or too cold in the bedroom). Also, there could be more kitchen utensils for preparing meals and a desk for working. I think the big space could be organised in a much better way.

I liked everything. The room was so comfortable with AC, it's a very short walk away from the beach. The staff were so friendly. The security is so good and friendly too. And it has a lovely little pool. The WiFi was really slow, unusable at times!

The staff were so lovely & helpful. We always felt safe with the security outside the property at all hours. The breakfast was always 10/10, with so many options to choose from, as well as the usual fruit & bread. Great location within walking distance to restaurants/beach. Would highly recommend and we can't thank the staff enough for being so lovely!
