The good: very reasonable price, we felt safe enough, it was convenient to Midway Airport (15 minutes by car, straight up Cicero), and there are lots of food options nearby. The bad: the room was full of dark hairs, long and short, all over (our family is all blond, no chance it was us). The chairs had long strips of fabric hanging from them. The bathroom door was dirty and didn't close. Even the door key they handed us was dirty. The room next door started a party at 9pm. At 5am someone started smoking pot outside the back of the hotel, right where our air conditioning drew its air, and our room filled with smoke. The good news was that the AC was loud enough to cover the noise of the party, and the smoke only woke me up, not the rest of the family. We actually had a passable stay, but it isn't for everyone.

Stayed here after flight delays at Midway. Arrived after midnight. Rang doorbell and was greeted in under a minute. Clean room and bed and working A/C. Left before dawn to catch a flight. Grateful that check-in was efficient.

The owner was the best owner I have experienced in a hotel/motel experience. It was a great location only 6 miles from midway airport with an excellent location to use the CTA throughout Chicago. The 383 takes you directly from the airport to the hotel, and vice versa. You can also take the orange line at the airport right at the heart of downtown chicago. Definitely recommend this place 100%

Great location, relaxing stay, great staff, clean room, fridge, microwave. Will return.

Bathroom door wouldn't close. Entry to room door hard to open and close. Facade falling apart. Electrical outlet looked like it could catch fire.

The room was clean and the staff was really nice. Definitely would stay there again

Conveniently located. Clean and beds were comfortable.

The person at the desk when we checked in was great and a hard worker (when we saw him the next morning, he was washing windows). He was the only highlight of our stay. The room needed a lot of maintenance. The air did not work at all. When I turned on the water in the shower, it came out orangish-brownish-rust. The traffic was very noisy. The electrical outlets were loose and didn’t hold my phone charger. The chair in the room was so worn out, the green material was completely absent on the seat and most area of the arms, showing a layer of black vinyl-like material. We travel a lot and this was in the top two worst rooms we’ve ever stayed in.

Room was cold and hard to sleep.

I liked that we had a table, 2 chairs, stand for our food , plates, and utensils. An additional area for our personal products. The TV was situated so both beds could see. Overall Ok Water pressure for the toilet, but it flushed and microwave, the plate was to big it wouldn't turn.

Nothing, really. It would have kept the rain off me had it been raining. Heat was always on and even though the nightly lows were in the 30s I had to keep a window open all night. It was fairly miserable. Beyond that, the room interior was more like something I'd find in a small town in New Mexico for $45/night, not something in Chicago for over $100/night.

When I first arrived I waited outside for 30 mins due to the doors being locked and no one was at the front. I tried buying drinks from the vending machine but the front desk said it didn’t work. He was very ignorant to guest. He offered waters but had said I had to buy them. When I said I would, he stated only cash. I replied that I only had card. Then asked if there was an atm to pull money out he said no. I asked for him to charge the waters on my card and he refused. Which was very strange to me almost as if he was pocketing the cash for the drinks. The room looked dirty, if it wasn’t so late I would’ve left but I had to rest my head and dealt with it for the few hours I was there. I’m highly unsatisfied and will never be returning to this business.

While this is an old-style motel, the manager provided excellent service during my stay. Because the temperature was dropping below zero at night, the manager provided a space heater to ensure I wasn't cold. When heavier than expected snow fell, the manager called to offer to bring coffee to the room, and even to pick up takeout for me from one of the local restaurants. When I was ready to check out the following morning, he had already shoveled out my car and even cleared the windows before offering to carry my bag out. His service may have been especially thoughtful because I am a senior citizen, but I truly appreciate it. Lastly, the location was convenient to both Midway Airport and to my Oak Lawn destination.

The room is comfy and I enjoyed my stay! Easy check in, helpful front desk worker. I would book here again if I were ever back in town.

Nothing Room smell like dead rat, blood spot on pillows, bathroom handle broken, a lot of e exposed else wires, fan of bathroom not working with huge amount of clogged dirt, door not secure anyone can literally get in to your room. Room as general like abonded place and someone came in and open it . It was nightmare not even 0 star.
