Signature Inn Oakland

The room needs to be updated and smelled of chemical cleaners. But location and staff were excellent and helpful. I would stay there again if same circumstances happened. The positives outweighed the negatives for me on this trip.

This is a motel.

It was close to the hospital I was checking into. Restaurants and 711 nearby. Parking was not good. Rooms were outdated and there was no privacy in the bathroom, it had a sliding door with rails attached to the outside wall leaving about a 1/2 " gap that let out sounds. I had to pay two refundable hold deposits: $200.00 and $150.00 to add an add"l day on top of the room discount price. This was 05/21/26 check-in day, there is no refund yet. I don't recommend this hotel.

Bed was clean and comfortable, shower/bathroom was clean. Overall the room was decent but the floors were dirty and the mini fridge was not very cold. Cute property, nice staff, parking was not hard, butttt it is very tight spaces and limited spaces are available.

We stayed at the Signature Inn Oakland for 3 nights. The room and property were clean and welcoming. Check in was easy and friendly. The room itself was spacious and well-decorated. It looked like it had been renovated pretty recently. Beds were comfortable and shower was hot. I loved that the parking was located beneath the rooms. Would definitely recommend!

The room was updated and very clean. Housekeeping was amazing as I did not have to ask for clean towels, they were readily available when I came back to my room for the evening. The location was perfect for the outings that I had planned as there were several restaurants within walking distance. The price was very reasonable as well.

The rooms are newly renovated , very clean and the staff is very kind. This is a family run business. Security gates are code controlled and the staff is available 24/7. Free parking. If you are looking for great value and a great location in north Oakland near piedmont Ave , this is the place.

Super clean room, friendly staff. Window AC was working well, the shower was clean. Don't expect any luxury, but for a single traveler or a couple exploring San Francisco - this is a perfect little motel room to stay in.

Great little place. Clean. Water temp would change a bit but it was wasn’t too bad. Would definitely go back.
