Location. Close to two large markets and just a few blocks from the zocalo. No window or ventilation in room. Bed was extremely hard. Accused me of taking a hand towel (which I didn’t) but then offered no way to correct the situation.

Well located, spacious rooms. Very disappointing. When we arrived they offered us a larger room for the same price. We accepted, and after we accepted they said the price was actually more expensive, we tried to get our previous reservation but they said that was already taken and there were other rooms available. We came in a group and it was late so we had not many options - they charged us the higher fee. We tried talking to the staff and manager server times but the staff there could not make decisions and the manager was not available, at that moment or the day after. Very disappointed service.

Location was excellent. Staff was nice. Room and bathroom cleanliness was lacking, no water pressure in shower or sink.

No breakfast. Hot water available, no cups for coffee, bring your own. Nada.

Great low budget hotel and close to the main market. We felt safe the entire time and there was secured parking across the street from the hotel. Air conditioning and daily maid service with a smile. Quiet and almost no road noise in the rooms. It was a bit far from the main cathedral and tourist areas. We had to walk about 8 blocks to get to the best restaurants that weren't in the main square.

Nice traditional architecture. Friendly staff was as helpful as he could and is usually available. Size of the room. Firm comfortable beds. Space to put our luggage and hang our clothes. Location is fairly central to the city so everywhere is pretty much within a short walking distance. Shower was the most disappointing aspect of this room. Very low pressure meant very little water. It also took over 20 mins of running the water before it became warm enough to shower. To be fair, after the 1st night the staff did improve this to a 5 minute wait but that does mean water wastage. I'm guessing it's using an old heating system of which there is two to service the whole hotel. We did find some hair in our bed which does question how often they change the bed sheets. WiFi wasn't the best. The rooms all surround a communal courtyard where people come in. If the other guests talk it can keep you awake with the loud echo. So, it depends on who you share the hotel with. There's a ceiling fan which only works if the accompanying light is switched on which means you can't use it when sleeping. Although there is an A/C alternative.

Rooms were large. Hot water and refresh on rooms daily. Parking was just around the corner from the hotel. Quiet hotel at night for a good night's sleep. Room smelled like sewer. Had to ask for the a/c remote twice and it took them four times before they figured out the correct remote for the tv.

The hotel is fairly decent for the kind of price we're paying for. We stayed during the Day of the Dead festival in October 2023 and we had good sleep because the room is sheltered from the outside noise.

Our room was horrendous! Upon entering our room, it was very muggy. The room itself was extremely outdated, and dusty. It didn't seem like our room was cleaned as there was dust everywhere. The room was covered in mosquitoes and cockroaches!! My wife and I had to book an extra day in Oaxaca because our flight got cancelled and we regretted booking here. The main reason was because of the location which was in the heart of all the popular shopping markets. We left the hotel at 4 am to the airport, earlier than expected because we couldn't stay any longer. We didn't sleep at all due to the mosquitoes and cockroaches. When we made a comment about this, we were given bug spray as a solution. The hosts were nice and accommodating to our early arrival and friendly but the hotel itself is old and not worth the stay.

Huge beautiful old building, the king room was large and comfortable with an outside seating area. amazing rooftop with plants and seating areas. Great location in the historic centre. Quiet and clean. There was a squirrel in the tree in the courtyard ❤️ Nothing really, the shower was a bit unpredictable at times The staff were not overly helpful but were fine

Not available but little restaurant across intersection is fine and Mercado is only 1 block.

Walkable to centre. Toiletries were minimal.

It looks nice until you discover the bed bugs The hotel we stayed in looks beautiful from the outside. Unfortunately, we found bedbugs in the beds. We discovered them late at night. The hotel did not offer us another room or any assistance. The owner encouraged the staff to convince us that changing the bed linen would be enough (in the case of bedbugs, this is impossible). Booking didn't give a damn about us either. In the middle of the night we were left homeless. Only one gentleman from the staff helped us rent something at midnight.

The location. Everything of interest was just around the corner or few blocks away. Nice hotel. Quiet.

The room was large, there was plenty of storage space for cothes etc. Towels were replaced daily. Our room was shielded from traffic noise. Sounds within the hotel echoed loudly though. Staff helpful though some had better english skills than others. Never short of hot water for the shower. Enough power points, once you found them. The room was windowless and dark for reading. But there was a lounge, and roof top terrace which provided good light.

We had a lovely room in the quiet back courtyard. Great location near the markets. Was great being able to refill our water bottles from the water dispenser. No insect netting on the bathroom window vents so we kept the window closed to avoid more mosquitoes from entering the room. Shower temperature was a bit hard to adjust.
-
almost nothing it’s in a terrible location. markets and street vendors are all over as well as smells. issued with parking lot. bathroom needs updating. toilet leaked. awful lightning. mattresses were bulky and old

The best part about the property is a location. It is very central and close to everything. The look of the property as exactly as described and expected. it is hard to find hotel with safe parking there and the fact that this hotel had it and it was free was awesome. It was a little bit inconvenient that the rooms were not ready by 3pm. We were very tired and had big group, so we were given only one room from 3 at the time of check in. Others was not ready. Some thing require repair in the room. You can hear noises from the hallway, but gladly we were so tired after busy days in Oaxaca that we were able to sleep even with that.

Clean room and great location. Hooked us up with tours for 2 days Rooms are not sound proof. Hot water took a while to come out
