About Mision de los Angeles
Just a 20-minute ride from Oaxaca International Airport, this beautiful resort in the heart of the city centre provides easy access to the main sites of interest, craft markets, restaurants and bars. The on-site travel agency makes it especially easy for the patrons to book trips around the area, and they can also use the car rental service if they prefer to explore the region on their own time and terms. To complement the beauty of the surrounding nature and architecture, the rooms are stylishly decorated in the hacienda style with wooden colonial-style furniture, stone floors and handcrafted elements. 2nd time staying here. We love it 15 min walk to McDonald’s for my kids. About a 20 min walk to the city center. A good thing for people that like to explore. We also love that it has a pool.

Hotel is nice but it needs an upgrade. Swimming pool needs a major upgrade. It could be a great hotel but it felt like it is a hotel for older people to enjoy their brunch time and bed time.

The hotel is quiet and a good place to rest, a little far from the city center.

The front en staff could be friendlier, acknowledging guests when walking by. The bell boys are GREAT.

The ambiance of the property is fantastic. The pool is big but flowers/pollen seem to dissolve in the water making it less appealing. Pool bar was not open while we were there but they will bring drinks from the restaurant. The rooms are ok. Good location between Reforma and Centro. Walking distance to both areas or short taxi/Didi rides.

The restaurant was very good for breakfasts at very reasonable prices All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to walk into the centro in 25-30 minutes. Do not miss Los Paco's, a 10 minute walk and Los Cuerdos a 15 minute walk for the dinners ever!

No hot water in shower area. That is a major necessity for accommodation when staying at a hotel

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Die Anlage ist zwar teilweise in die Jahre gekommen, aber gut gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind rustikal, aber komfortabel und sauber. Ein echtes Highlight ist der große Pool, der perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem Tag in der Stadt ist. Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Very nice hotel in a good location close to the old Centro part of Oaxaca. Close to the main bus station and a short taxi to the old colonial part of Oaxaca. Nice restarant for breakfast. Nice grounds and large pool.

Overall the hotel is fine. However the facilities seems stuck on the 80s, not because they want to keep the esthetics. But because it seems that the hotel furniture is the same as it was 40 years ago. The mirrors in the reception bathroom are deteriorated, the telephone in the room is yellow due to the deterioration of the plastic, or the floors in the hallways of the rooms are dirty.

Reasonable place to stay, no issues, was comfortable. It’s maybe 10 mins walk from the corner of Oaxaca centro. The area is a lot quieter than centro itself, so late at night we felt slightly wary (we were two women) but the locals otherwise say it’s a safe area. It’s only 8 mins walk from ADO bus terminal which was nice. Breakfast was excellent. Safe worked well. Service was lovely. Hot water was hot. I would recommend this place overall but staying closer to centro might be more convenient
