Here, you’ll be surrounded by markets, churches, museums, galleries, shops, restaurants, and parks… yet inside our walls, peace and calm prevail. Set in a charming 1950s house that once belonged to Don Pablo Vásquez, the hostel has been carefully transformed into a welcoming hospitality space. The original layout has been adapted to function as lodging, preserving the soul of the house and offering an authentic, relaxing experience. At the center of the house, a beautiful garden patio connects you with nature. And from our roof garden, you can enjoy a unique view of the mountains and the city — perfect for reading, relaxing, or simply taking in the scenery. Our shared kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook at your own pace, with a refrigerator and utensils at your disposal. We offer private rooms with either shared or private bathrooms. Each room is named after a place or symbol of Oaxaca, inspired by the playful design of the traditional Mexican Lotería. With a harmonious mix of colors, these rooms invite you to unwind. The rooms with private bathrooms also include a coffee maker so you can enjoy your first cup of the day without leaving your room. Good atmosphere and the beds were very comfortable For what it is, the establishment is good, not to bad of a location. The inside is much more appealing and comfortable

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds werde very comfortable. Enjoyed meeting otherf guests. My service dog was warmly welcomed. Neighborhood sidewalks were too narrow for my wheelchairf. Lampposts right in the middle. .Pavement broken up in places by tree roots.

It was fairly quiet at night. No fan or AC in room.

I liked the location, and the overall level of comfort. The water in the shower kept going back and forth between freezing cold and boiling hot, no matter how I adjusted it. Also, my room was a bit noisy, but not too bad.

We loved everything in this hostel; Angel and his staff, the comfort, the cleanliness, the decoration, the terrace, access to kitchen, the location which is close to the center but in the perfect quiet area. We extended our stay there for 6 nights total and it couldn't have been more perfect! There's a new car rental just on the corner which is perfect for a trip to hierve el agua at your own pace. -Nothing!

Everything, the WiFi was also amazing and I was able to work from the hotel for a few days rather than go out and find somewhere which was a huge bonus!

I loved it all, I met some great people there too. The breakfast was filling and the setup was wonderful. They have a very massive space to walk around. Every room has great sound proof walls, you can only hear people once they’re out and about.
