It was super sweet of the owner to let us in very late and stay awake for us. Then- she showed us even the nicest Taco place. It was a beautiful arrival, she gave us very good tips for Dia los muertos. Thank you so much!

Lots of beautiful art everywhere. The cafe is nice, full of plants and nice lighting. Staff is super helpful. It’s a more quiet and peaceful type of hostel, at least while I’ve been here. Shared bathrooms, but it was ok

Very convenient location before my night bus trip, about 100m from the terminal. Staff was super rude when i got there, as if i was annoying him just to appear for my reservation

The location was great, easy to find. They even told us to park the car in the driveway. Only 1 bathroom for the whole place. Saturday night, we waited over 30min to brush our teeth. We ended up in the kitchen out of frustration. The bed is a little harder than we like. Shower head could be better.

The staff was so friendly though he couldn’t speak English we use Google translate and he helped us for all the questions. Due to the day of the dead, we went home late for check in, he still open for 24hours. We really appreciate and even he helped us book a taxi to airport which we can’t speak Spanish. Everything is good

This has the potential to be a really nice hostel hence why I've rated it so highly. It could do with a clean throughout (not just the beds) sweep and mop the room floors in the privates. Only one hot shower in the whole property. There's other showers but only cold water. Surely this is an easy fix??

We stayed here for one night because the hostel is located just 100 metres from the bus station and we had to catch a late bus. The guy who received us was not very welcoming. The room was just okay but very stuffy, there was this odour …shared bathroom next door was fine and free every time we needed it. The kitchen could use some cleaning and it was missing some basics.

Hard to find my reservation
-
Cheap price near the bus station The room did not have a ventilation window and it had full window facade towards where people walked by. So needed to have the curtains closed all the time
-
Undoubtedly the location and the price is excellent. The staff is very helpful The kitchen is equipped nevertheless it could be renewed from time to time. The bed was not comfy. guests can be very loud during rest time. I would not recommend it for a resting vacation. Only for a night stop

Friendly host, Oaxaca center is in walking distance, hostel is in a nice district After a 10 hour busride from Mexico City to Oaxaca, we arrived at 7 pm (check in 3 - 10 pm), when we found our room "still occupied by other people". We guess the host thought we might not show up, why he gave our room spontaneously to someone else. Tired and hungry we had to wait until the other guests packed their stuff and the room got cleaned. Bathrooms are really run down and not available on every floor, so you might need to walk down some shaky stairs and through the garden, to pee at night. Had a hard time opening the rusty locks.

As described, the room is very clean. There is also a kitchen. You can check in at a flexible time, which is very good. There are three bathrooms, and two in the main building have hot water to take a bath. However, when there are many guests on Sundays, not all guests cherish their use, resulting in clogged toilets.

Location is good. Not for from the center of the city The rooms are ok. The have frosted glass on doors. Which at night let to much light trough. And the bathroom is outdoors. Which at night makes it challenging. And there is only one with hot water. So might need to queue to use it. Not pleasant
