Staff was kind, very gracious with us trying to communicate in English. Dinner was amazing and a good breakfast too.

This place is excellent for an overnight stay during a long road trip. It has a cool country/rustic vibe. The restaurant offers honest, down to earth cuisine. I highly recommend reserving a table in advance! Good breakfast also. Very friendly staff! We found that our beds were in need of new mattresses. Note: It gets very busy during school holidays. The parking lot is not large enough to accommodate all guests, which means you might need to park your vehicle in the surrounding streets.

Typical nice wooden style with modern features. Nice view from the hotel, good restaurant, outside beer terace, rich breakfast. The staff kind, but little big overloaded. The hotel´s capacity and number of the guests facing the limits of the service capacity (waiting time in the restaurant, free table at the breakfast).

Very clean, recently renovated/refreshed room, fantastic, big bathroom. Good wifi, very nice breakfast. There is only one ATM in town that accepts revolut card - Sparkasse and you can withdraw without any commission. This is a perfect place for a short stay and probably for a longer stay as well. We picked this for a quick pitstop on our way to Zillertal and it was perfect. Local, tasty, mineral water available free of charge, cold :) Officially reception open until 9pm and there is no way to check in after that time. We were one hour late and there was still somebody allowing us in, however save yourself a stress and arrive no later than 9pm.

Clean, modern bathroom, very good breakfast. Bedroom was very hot, impossible to cool without opening windows and curtains - didn’t sleep well. No complimentary water or tea/coffee facilities. No fridge. When we asked for water we were given 1 small jar of chilled tap water and told if we want more we have to pay. Restaurant closed on the day we stayed.

During our recent stay at Hotel Ochsenwirt, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the fantastic live Tyrolean band. Their lively music and spirited “Ein Prosit” toasts created an unforgettable atmosphere, making every evening a joyous celebration. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with every corner of the property meticulously maintained. The staff’s dedication to hygiene was evident and greatly appreciated, especially in these times. Service at Hotel Ochsenwirt was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all guests felt welcome and well-cared for. Their friendliness and efficiency truly enhanced the stay, making it feel like a home away from home. The room we stayed in (nr. 11) was spacious and beautifully appointed. It provided all the comforts one could ask for, with tasteful decor and plenty of room to relax and unwind. The only downside to my experience was the absence of schnitzel on the menu. While the other dishes were delicious, it would have been perfect to enjoy a traditional schnitzel during my stay. Overall, Hotel Ochsenwirt offers an exceptional experience with its vibrant live music, impeccable cleanliness, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the best of Tyrolean hospitality. The only downside to our experience was the absence of schnitzel on the menu.
