City Lounge Hotel Oberhausen

The room was perfectly situated to accomodate 3 people. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The food selection was on a point and it was delicious. The parking situation was not ideal. The area that I had to drive my car into was so narrow that I had to straighten my car out fully across the middleroad and pull my mirrors to get through. While I was doing that a car almost crashed into me. Thankfully, no accidents occured. The little space I had once I got through was difficult to park in because it was so dark, no lights in the parking area at all plus there was discarded furniture & trash in the spot I was told to park in. There was no on street parking at all near the hotel.

I didn't have breakfast, so I can't tell anything about it. The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean, there were tea coffee towels papers and ... Access was really easy and quick because almost every bus line goes there, even at night. Staff was really respectfull and kind and they told me anything I needed I could ask them. Also, there was really quiet. You could go in and out of hotel at anytime of day. At the end, the price was a little bit higher than a 8 room hostle, so I suggest this to everyone. I won't go to Oberhausen probably again, but if I go, I will stay at this hotel for sure. I can't remember anything negative in specific.

Room was clean as well as the beds shower and comfortable enough, basic but ok. I have the idea its undergoing renovation. Elevator broken, payment system not working for meastro or mastercard. It is not 500m from CentrO as stated in the booking.com search ‘most close to CentrO’ in the description it is stated correct like 3-4 km away from CentrO. But I already booked and only noticed upon arrival.

Very accomodating staff, Good service. Room was clean and delivered on time for check in. The location in the midst of Oberhausen Center is ideal for a quick trip.

There was no one at the front desk so I left the room key in the grey mailbox on the side of the door.

Location is good, central but quiet, next to shopping and transport. Access is possible through the night through apart entrance! Parking at the back is useful even dark and dodgy and through a narrow driveway because on street parking is very hard to find in the evening. Enough hot water in the shower and water also draining away very good. Beds were comfortable! Room was small and not exceptionally clean. Hairdryer broken and even I could say dangerous. No thee or coffee making possibilities, things broken in the room, tv did not work properly. Shower making noises but the basics are there and working.

Location Rooms are not clean . Bed linen are old looking and dirty. . The comforter for my room was for toddler or kids with cartoon characters. Room smells. During my stay room never got cleaned. My bed was never made . The internet barely works. On and off through out my stay. I requested to check out of this horrible place but wouldn’t get my refund. This place is like a dormitory nothing like a hotel. No fan or air conditioning. Due to the weather I needed a fan at least.
