Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel itself could use some improvement. The hallways and rooms had a noticeable unpleasant, musty smell that made the hotel feel less clean and comfortable than expected. The rooms could also benefit from a deep cleaning and some updating. Overall, the staff was definitely the highlight of our stay, but the cleanliness and odor issues in the rooms and hallways need to be addressed. With some improvements, this could be a much better experience.

Loved our stay here definitely coming back and recommend! The restaurant on the property next to the bar at the pool top notch!

Not what I expected but made the best out of it.

Nice sized rooms friendly staff. Only complaint is it’s very slippery by the pool not sure why they chose those tiles. Pool does get crowded but overall great place to stay and great location!

The ambiance of the outdoor pool, hot tub and fire pit was really nice! Having a pool and ocean view was lovely. Having two burners to cook and a full size fridge was convenient as well. Lenny, our room attendant was kind and so were the front desk staff!! The cleanliness inside of the hotel was disappointing. Having no cameras along with a room door that had a huge gap made me question my safety. The balcony flooring and closet ceiling was piling and the room table was rusted (they replaced it with a nicer one)! The cost far exceeded the value, I expected more!

With the ocean being pretty much closed due to jellyfish infestation, my family and I enjoyed the pool every day! The cocktails were perfect and pool deck was clean and maintained. We were able to walk to get our coffee in the morning , walk to get dinner at Longboard and Ice cream at King Cone afterwards! We can’t wait for next summer! Bar staff was fantastic and good tunes played all day on pool deck !

The hotel is a great location, close to everything and literally right on the beach. We have been coming to OC for 15 years it's our first time we stayed here. The only complaint we had was our room was so humid the rug felt wet and when we would get in the bed at bed time the sheets felt damp so that was a bit weird. I did complaint when checking out would I stay here again. Yes I would the pool area was great my son had a ball. They also have a great Italian restaurant on property it waa so good

The location was good. The hotel was clean. The pool area including the lounges in the upper deck and sand was unique. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The house keeping staff forgot to clean our room but when I called someone was sent to clean. It was just an oversight.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating even prior to our official check in. The room was clean and they had every bathroom and kitchen need you could ask for. The pool along with the pool area was very nice and enjoyable as well. We will definitely be back!!

Clearly an older renovated hotel, but CLEAN (coming from a germaphobe). It was a bummer we couldn't be in the ocean because of all the jellyfish, but the pool area is excellent. LOVED the swim up bar. Can't wait to come back next year!

The hotel was amazing and the view to the ocean amazing. Easily accessible to the ocean. The only thing was the air in the room could of been a little colder.

This hotel is amazing. We will be coming back as soon as possible. The kids loved it!!
