Quality Inn & Suites Oceanside near Camp Pendleton

Not a lot Wallpaper peeling off of walls, flooring was slipping with gaps between the planks, bleach stains on comforters, decor is from the 70’s, literally. Stains on the walls, just run down and dingy

Roaches came out the last night I stayed.

Beds were comfortable. needs a lot of upgrades. Floors have been upgraded. Stayed last year same time and floors had been upgraded but no more upgrades done since last visit.

I was very disappointed to find that the room had not one roach but three of them. So I passed on the breakfast. I had to walk through one building to the next and go downstairs to get a bucket of ice. They need more convenient ice machine. But having a balcony was a nice touch

The only thing we liked about this hotel was the employees, pool, and location. The hotel was disgusting. First night we found 2 roaches in our room. The air conditioner looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The wallpaper was peeling off all the walls. Floors were really dirty. Our seats in our rooms were filthy stained and disgusting. All that was just inside the room. In the hallways, walls were stained, and carpet was disgusting and hadn't been cleaned in years. We will never return here!!! Stay away!

Staff is great, room pretty good for price, parking ok, small back parking lot.

It’s a decent place to stay, and it’s only a 15-minute drive to Legoland. However, it’s strange that they don’t serve bread in the breakfast, unlike other Quality Inn hotels where they serve breads and muffins.

Yesssss. The electricity went out for hours and we couldn’t shower and the room was hot!

Glad we had our own balcony, mini fridge and microwave and the black out curtains were amazing

Absolutely nothing. Walked into cockroaches on the wall, on the counters and in the bathroom along with spiders in the bathroom. The wall paper was peeling off of the wall and the stairs smell like urine. The front desk transferred us to a different room that appeared ok until we went into the bathroom, and again more roaches. The A/C was not working properly and in the middle of the night the heater turned on. In the middle of a heat wave durring summer. Breakfast was coffee/ tea, 2 cold cereals, Activia yogurt, and the worst waffles we have tasted, and either an apple or an orange. The front desk was 0 help. Offered to only refund me the nights that I was not longer going to be needing, obviously I checked out. No manager on site. When I asked for a number to take the complaints up the chain, I was told to look it up myself. Now booking .Com tells me that they tried reaching out to quality inn and there was no reply from the hotel, so I should contact the property myself...this was the start of a summer vacation for me and my grand daughters. Terrible!

Based on the reviews, we were hoping for a good night, but upon arrival, we noticed that the stairs were dirty, not vacuumed, and the walls were worn with visible blemishes. Decor is outdated and that was prior to entering the room. The room again is very outdated, the floors were not clean, dust and debris under the beds. As I woke up the following morning, the power was out, an apparent outage. At that point, we checked out. I wouldn't have shared so much but given the current reviews, I hope that this would help with upgrading the rooms and amenities. Wishful thinking.
