This place customer service was great. I was disappointed when I got to my room as AC was not working property and for me that was a disappointment as my son had been in a tournament and I wanted him and the kids to be able to sleep good

Ants all over the bathroom sink, shower curtain rod falling, no dishes you have to request, breakfast was old muffins, no coffee ran out, no staff to refill breakfast, booked here so we could swim, pool was emptied but that wasn’t mentioned when booking. I want my money back….ive stayed in this brand of chain before and this place needs help and needs to disclose no pool.

Breakfast consisted of no utensils, not even a spoon for my instant oatmeal. Breakfast was only instant oatmeal and mini muffin and a break bar. At least it was pet friendly. Not shampoo or even any cups in the room. Only had 2 little bar soaps. No hair dryer, no water in the pool, trash outside was overfilled.

Unfortunately, the common areas were very dirty. The pool was not open. It was closed for repairs and when I needed some of the amenities that they said to go to the front desk to ask for for example, shampoo and conditioner, they were out of all of that stuff. I would not stay here again. The staff was very friendly.

Pillows were too hard, noise coming from the bathroom did not let me sleep. I hope they can improve the hotel.

Got to the room, refrigerator was loud and vibrating. Called the front desk and they explained maintenance was gone for the weekend, and even if they were around they didn't have other refrigerators to swap out. Instead of suggesting room swap they told us to just unplug the fridge. Also, pool was empty (like no water empty) and that wasn't disclosed to us upon booking or upon arrival. Part of the reason I booked this hotel was the pool on site.

The room was fair. The bathroom was a mess, to include filthy vents that clearly had not had filters replaced in ages. The pool was empty and being used as a storage site for patio furniture. $569 for 2 nights is an absolute ripoff. I travel to Carlsbad a dozen times a times a year…. and I will never stay here again.

This used to be a great place to stay. It is getting more by the year, but more rundown as well.

Clean room, comfortable beds
-
We didn’t get a room with the correct bed size and the staff weren’t able to help us. Also the pool was closed the whole weekend so it wasn’t useable. We won’t be going back.

The AC could work better, but it did its job. I enjoyed my stay here, I had no real issues. I would recommend to anyone traveling to this area of the west coast.

I liked that it wasn’t far from anything we wanted to do! Close to the beach!!! Very great for the price! Could come with basics like a shampoo or conditioner but there was soap and body wash
-
Amenities were lacking. Only 2 small packets of a "moisturising cleansing bar with pure aloe" and a "moisturising body bar with pure aloe" were available for the baths. There was no shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer in the room, although these were available at the front desk. I found the internet to be weak. "Grab and Go" breakfast consisted of envelopes of instant oatmeal without bowls or milk to go with it, and small _____ bars. Decafe coffee was instant.

That it's over! The room dated and dingy no services unless you pay, pool closed parking ect....
-
The room was simple, clean and spacious. Free parking on site. Staff was nice. Unfortunately pool was closed
-
Kitchen utensils we received from the front desk were only for 2 guests and not 4, no toaster etc. Apparently they ran out.

This hotel was filthy. The hallway carpets look like they have years of dirt ground in & in the three days we were there the floors in the entry/stairway were not mopped (floor had visible filth, dead bugs, etc.). All the entrances smelled like urine (hope that’s from the dogs that are allowed to stay). The pool was broken, two of the four washing machines were broken, there were insects in the room (I woke up to ants crawling on my arms in the middle of the night), and dirty water backed up into the kitchen sink. One of the worst hotel experiences of my life.

Liked everything

Our check-in was delayed but when we finally got to the hotel there was no staff available at the front desk (it was 7:30pm). When he did arrive we were assigned a room that had a window open and could not be closed. After asking to switch and then proceeded to have a terrible nights sleep due to freeway noise, I discovered it was due to again another window open but it went unnoticed because the screen was off. My son and I had to stuff tissue in our ears to block out the outside noise of the freeway.

We accidentally booked the handicap accessible room, which was our mistake. But there wasn't any other available rooms to move to. This was not the hotels fault.
