We expected so much from a Marriott property but it was a flop! HOTELS.com sold us ocean view-they only had partial view for us and couldn’t do anything about it! Bathroom door did not close all the way or lock so that made a group of four AWKWARD! The AC u it was located next to the head of the bed so every time it kicked on we woke up. The breakfast is wonderful-so I will end on a positive note.

Great location. Great breakfast. Having beach chairs and beach towels available was a plus. Pool was kinda small but manageable. Having to use the room card to gain access to various floors was reassuring. Would stay here again.

Great location , near the beach and Carlsbad village. Local restaurants and bars are also within walking distance.

The room and the property was clean. The assistant manager was very gracious to us. We loved breakfast was served til 10:30!

Location was great, property was clean. We were disappointed in the rooftop area closing so early. We stayed there a few years ago before the bar was open and you could hangout on the rooftop patio now the area closes when the bar does around 9pm. Some staff members were great but there were a few that were not so nice.

Prefect location. Great staff. I wound definitely recommend this place for all types of travelers. Only downside, I've been to other local hotels... they have much better pools than this place. That's the only hang up. Otherwise, worth it.

The location, the pool and spa The people on the floor above we could hear them walking all night. Kids had e bikes in the elevator going up to the third floor.
