I come back over and over. I am very comfortable here and I love the fact that it is one level. The location is excellent, the rates are great and the staff is wonderful.

Location and good for an overnight stay.

We had a pipe break in our room which never sprayed on all of our things and we let them know and they come in and shut off the water and then just walk out leaving a bunch of water on the rest room floor. They didn't even give us anything to clean it with and then our sink would not work for the rest of the night and the next day they said we would either need to stay in that room or checkout at 11am and come back at 3pm to check back in with no offer of doing anything to correct the issue. Also they only give you a top sheet and two pillows on top of a mattress protector. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay then it's exactly what you'll pay for a cheap place.

Exceptional

This was the most unrelenting worn down motel I've ever stayed in and the fact is that Carl's pants, worms, insulting recruits, dirty food crumbs everywhere, ants bed was so stiff, never got fresh to hold, they didn't get any fresh shampoo. The meat was terrible, doesn't wipe? Down anything shower drain is falling out, almost broke my foot. Really really run down The bed , the room service in the room

For the price definitely can find something better. Towels are disgusting stained from previous uses had to ask for new ones. Felt like the train tracks were their backyard and will wake you up.

Room was full of rust and bugs. Couldn’t access the WiFi. The room was crammed even with just the one bed. The staff were rude. Overly expensive for what it is. Only nice thing was it was somewhat close to the beach but I’d rather spend a couple of extra bucks next time to get me next to the beach than stay there.

It's a nice, quiet little place with its own parking conveniently located near the major freeways and downtown Carlsbad. The rooms have microwaves and small fridges. Every unit is equipped with a toilet and shower. And there is a huge mirror counter with the sink. The AC unit worked very well, too. Great for single travelers or couples!

Location. You can reach beach by walking 5-6 minutes. Cleanness is just ok. There's noise of traffic, not a big deal for me but could affect someone has difficulties to sleep.

It was close to downtown Carlsbad.

I hate when negative reviews are true. I wanted to give this hotel a chance but the rooms were beyond dirty. All negative comments were true. Bed sheets not washed with hair and unknown substances on them. When I asked for clean sheets the owner basically told me to leave. Told me if i didn’t like it, he’d give me a refund and i can leave. Mind you he kept 60$ for me undoing the beds. I had to check the mattress for bed bugs and found them to be more than just stained.

Very small rooms. Fair amount of street noise. School next door does band practice in the morning. Old noisy air conditioner. Bathroom was nice. Bed was clean. Convenient area, lots nearby. Price was cheap.
