The Fin Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The smell of the room was horrible. Misty, musky smell constantly from the air conditioner. Leaving it off mad it worse. Humming noises either inside or outside the room. Bathroom fan did not work. No microwave as stated on their website. Too old of a building.

Enjoyed staff, very accommodating, bedroom a bit dark, could use more lights. Los could of used sand chairs to borrow. Outside area would be nice to sit at but no cushions looked a bit unkept.

the location near the train station and the beach was great the room was very humid. the staff wasn't very functional, I asked for room cleaning, nobody came. I paidd for a parking permit and spot from the hotel but it accrued two times that the lot was full with cars that didnt had a permit. there where planned roadworks in the ally from the parking lot but the staff of the hotel forgot to inform us.

We were so happy with everything here even the lobby. And the glass of champagne!

The room was smaller than we expected. There’s no microwave so we had to ask for the staff to warm our food. The location was as described. We wished that they would have chosen at the hotel that has better amenities.

There was a city/wide multi-hour power outage in Oceanside when I returned quite late to the Hotel (after midnight). The staff was alert, helpful, and the reserve power allowed me to access my room for a comfortable night’s sleep, just the same… The Fin is always my choice when I’m in the area.

Honesty it’s an old hotel that they slapped new paint on. I was pretty bummed I booked here and don’t recommend it at all. Was expensive for what I got in return.

Excellent location and clean. Needs a bit of upgrades, straight toilets, fix the cracks on the titles, shower handles not centered, and a few bubbles on the wallpaper

Hidden little gem. We had a great room. Room 212 came with an outdoor patio which was perfect for laying out during the day ocean view. And hanging out at night leave the door open for that ocean breeze!! The bed and pillow were cozy. AC blew nice and cold. It was quiet and very peaceful. The hotel staff was wonderful. The Little Dawn attached to the hotel was AMAZING!!!! I highly suggest having dinner there. Food was delish, the even carry Natural wine…. Parking is $28 a day which I felt should had been included. The only downfall I had was the rain shower head did not work at all….. And even though petty the two bottles of water in the room should’ve been complementary when spending almost $700 for two nights.

I loved it! The location was central to shops, restaurants, entertainment, the beach; just everything. I am booked to stay again in just a few days; I liked it that much. There was trash on the floor of the restaurant both days that I ate there and it was the same trash from the day before and in the same location. However, the service was excellent as well-as the food.
