Aethrio Sunset Village - Oia

Beautiful village type hotel setting. Quiet close to everything great pool and comfortable clean rooms

The staff was very accommodating, breakfast buffet was great every morning, the rooms were very spacious with your own patio, rooftop was nice to watch the sunset from and the location was in a prime spot! We enjoyed everything!! However, we wish we could have had a room for our three daughters but we ended up having to get 3 rooms for 5 people since there are only 2 single beds or a double bed in the rooms.

Location was excellent and made access to Oia easy. Staff was helpful with luggage and they were happy to help with any questions. Having breakfast available every morning with plenty of variety of good quality food every morning was very nice. Views from the room a property are incredible. The lower bedroom was very small with no place to plug in near the bed and no bedside tables. There was a surprising odor that may have been from the cleaning that took some time to clear in lower bathroom area but it dissipated.

A certain staff member was very unpleasant and unwelcoming, vacation is not a time we want to deal with such attitude.

The location was perfect. It felt liked a peaceful oasis in the middle of Oia. The sunset terrace was perfect for both sunset and sunrise! We loved the food and beverages we got there…highly recommend the lunch actually! Breakfast was excellent as well. Beautiful amazing property! There are a lot of steps! And you have to walk into the property. Wasn’t a problem for us but I can see how it might be a challenge for older or less fit travelers.

Very charming place, traditional Greek decor, very tasteful. Amazing location and great service. Lady at the reception was super kind and helpful. Cleanliness impeccable - absolutely spotless! Lovely view from sunset terrace. Internet is not super strong but it did the job.

All staff facilities really welcoming, graceful. Nearby everything. Service is exceptional.

The bed could’ve been more comfortable.

Close to bus stop . Able to go take bus to other side of island and check out the beach there. Walked down toward the castle and to ahmoudi bay. Picked up at bus stop by staff so no chance of getting lost. Also transported to ferry by staff with all the tips needed to make the experience less daunting. View from private deck or patio is superb.

Property was great and what I expect from Santorini accomodations. Location was perfect in the middle of Oia old town. Staff were very nice and helfpful, they arranged a breakfast box for us since we are living very early in the morning. Very near to public bus terminal. Will definitely book again if given a chance to return to Santorini.

Uncomfortably restrictive rules on enjoying a glass of wine.

Aethrio layout is fantastic, like a little village in a big village! It has a Main Street going to the various little houses where your room is. Very calm and peaceful. The pool are is fantastic and quiet, super relaxing! Watching the sunsets from the top terrace was a real treat every night. The place is such a peaceful oasis and such a contrast to the hustle and bustle and business of the main streets in Oia! We will come back for sure and have already recommended to our friends and family. At the pool area the sun beds are fixed in place and cannot be moved.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast For seniors some of the steep steps could be difficult to manage in some rooms at the top of the hotel.

Wonderfully location close to everything and absolutely reprieve from the crowds of Oia. Gorgeous peaceful sunset view.

The Aethrio Sunset Village in Oia, Santorini was one of the most magnificent hotels that my husband and I have ever stayed in. The two of us are seasoned travelers and from its location in the heart of Oia to its ambiance to the beauty of the hotel to their wonderful staff, I highly, highly recommend the Aethrio Sunset Village in Oia. It was PERFECT.
