Love the location of the hotel. It is also connected to the train station through underground walkway. It was very convenient particularly when carrying luggage or during rainy days. Supermarket was only 2 minutes away through underground walkway. There were tons of shops and restaurants around. Aeon mall and departmental store were within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was no safety box inside the room. Breakfast was the same during the 4 days we stayed but staff was great. It was mainly Japanese breakfast but there was enough choice to fill the stomach.

Terrible breakfast. We didn't enjoy it at all. The room was dark most of the time. We had only one small window and the lights doesn't really light up the room very much.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan. It’s right in front of the train station and it has the unusual biggest room you rarely find in Japan. All of that for pretty cheap prices. The staff were super helpful too. Nothing

I loved that the room was spacious and had a desk and a couple of chairs with a small table. There was plenty of room to work, and plenty of room for my suitcase. The large windows let in plenty of natural light. The water pressure in the shower was strong, the bed was comfortable, and the pillow was soft. I appreciate the complimentary bags of drip coffee in the lobby. The staff was helpful and kind.

The staff from check-in to check-out were very accommodating. DRHO allowed complimentary bag storage before our stay. This was really useful since we stayed for two nights in small towns mainly serviced by local one man trains. The hotel was comfortable & up to DRH standards. The breakfast buffet was satisfying with a good selection of both western & Japanese food. The location to Okayama station was excellent, yet the sound of the trains did not reach our room. Bus & streetcar stops were near & the underground connector with dining & shopping options were certainly helpful. The bathroom layout was a bit dated. The overall condition of the room was very clean & maintained, but the step up to the bathroom was somewhat of a challenge for my wife. The hotel entrance, adjacent to the BIC Camera building, could have benefitted from an additional directional sign.

The hotel has a great location as it is close to the station and only an easy pleasant walk of about 20+ minutes to the art museum, the Orient Museum, the Castle and the garden. The room we had was very spacious with an ante room for luggage, roomy closet space and drawers. The bed was comfortable. The little sofa was useful and each side of the bed had reading lights, always a bonus. The reception staff were extremely helpful and gracious. The room lighting was not great, being more of a single option cold fluorescent. The breakfast was more fast than wonderful and the seating in the breakfast room was quite worn.

The size of the room Located next to the train station The property requires some renovation Fir example: The seating in restaurant is torn, The breakfast should be self serving, Not enough choice,and the overall impression of the breakfast- wasn’t pleasant, We had a lot of noise at night even we stayed on 7th floor, We won’t visit again this hotel and we won’t recommend to stay in it. We stayed in many Daiwa Hotels during our visit and this is not in the standard of Diawa’s Hotels

Great location 5 min walk from the station. The room was adequate with good WiFi. Comfortable bed. I used the in-house washing machine and dryer, which worked well. The breakfast was quite simple, but adequate.
