I loved how friendly and cozy it was The pillows are pretty thin

it was a good stay. bed was comfortable. there was little people staying so it was very chill. they let me leave my luggage before check in. rooms have very little room for your luggage. there are no shelves inside the bed. i didn’t see anyone cleaning during my whole stay. every space in this hostel connected: i stayed in a female only room but it didn’t even have a door, just a curtain that didn’t even reach the floor. way too little bathrooms and showers. there was a nice common space, but it is on the outside and it was very cold. the inside spaces were connected to the dorms so if you wanted to take a call or anything you had to go outside. still, i stayed there for four nights and it was a good stay.

The only thing this place has going for it is location! Poor value for money , dirty by Japanese standards , dark ( no windows) very limited kitchen facilities , overflowing garbage bins ,no air circulation , no luggage lockers, no staff !

It’s located at the street called shotengai in Japanese. But at the night all the shops are closed and pretty much nobody was there. This guest house can have 15ish people but I was the only one so honestly it was the scariest night I’ve had ever lol but location is not that bad and I could find the good place for breakfast:)

The manager manages the bar downstairs. He does NOT like foreigners. He is not rude but very standoffish. Also there is a kitchen but no pots pans cups knifes.

Small but functional hostel. The dorms are comfortable but there is very little space for your stuff. The kitchen has a microwave and a kettle but there is no space to cook. There is a nice little place "outside" to hang out (the hostel is on a covered shopping street).

Great clean and friendly hostel above a bar in the main strip area. Good access to everything. Dryers and shower were super nice.

Relax staff, intimate, clean, good value, laid-back.

Pleasant
-
Check-in required contacting them, which confused me, but someone saw and let me in and contacted the staff for me. Heat and sound proofing are not the best.
