Karbel Hotel - All Inclusive

Comfortable beds and nice rooms view (ours had a courtyard view) A beautiful beach is within walking distance (about 7-10 min) Basic kids facilities on site – a playground and some simple activities We arrived on the first day but were not checked in due to overbooking. We had to go to another hotel and our first day of vacation was completely wasted. On the second day, we finally got a room at Karbel. The room itself was okay, but I must stress that we were lucky with the location (courtyard view). However, the overall experience was ruined by several issues: 1. Smoking. Many guests smoke everywhere on the premises, even during meals. As a parent, I find this unacceptable – small children are forced to breathe second‑hand nicotine. The staff does nothing to stop it. 2. Food. You have to come exactly at the start of the meal service; otherwise, meat dishes simply run out. It's a "first come, first served" policy. 3. Shower room on departure. The hotel offers a room for a shower before your flight, which sounds helpful. But in reality, it was just a dirty, uncleaned room from previous guests: it smelled of cigarettes, had used towels, leftover food, and cigarette butts. That was disgusting, not a service. 4. Beach towels are not provided for sunbeds or the beach – bring your own.

It was my first all-inclusive hotel and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the variety of food, we stayed for 3 nights and every day there was something different. I liked the calm music playing at meal times and the cheerful one playing at the pool bar. All the local alcoholic drinks were also included. And I was TRULY happy that there were no animators and we could enjoy ourselves without unnecessary distractions. As our room was far from the main hotel facilities, the Internet was good only outside.

My family had a really enjoyable holiday. The Karbel is ideally located close to the beach and shops and bars, The hotel itself is very clean and staff very helpful. Omer, the hotel photographer took amazing pictures of my family and his prices for each photo very reasonable. We had a lovely holiday after a stressful year and felt fully relaxed. As a family we would stay here again. Sometimes the Wi-Fi was a weak signal but I think this was done to the number of people using it.
