Staff were not that friendly, breakfast just okay and they forgot to "refresh" our room so I had to ask for fresh towels and supplies.

As for the room/property itself, I was pretty disappointed in the overall condition. I have stayed in Towneplace Suites before in other cities and I return because I enjoy the setup of having a mini kitchen area when traveling with our infant. Our shower had mold visible under some of the built in shelves and the bathroom overall felt a bit dingy. The towels were rough and visibly stained. Our toilet ran continuously. The hallways smelled a bit musty and the chlorine in the pool was so strong that it turned everyone's eyes bloodshot. There is only one ice maker on the property and it was out of order our entire stay. We would not return to this property.

So overall a decent place to stay for a quick overnight. The hotel was clean and in a good state of repair. This was my experience that made it a little less desirable than other places I’ve stayed in Omaha: The room was cramped and small for a ‘suite’ (King with small pullout loveseat sofa), the lobby reception and seating area for breakfast was very cramped and small- everyone was elbow to elbow at breakfast (not terrible but would have a little more pleasant if we had more room, only 2 of us), and the gym area while clean, had some very worn equipment (bench was rusty and torn, one of two treadmills were out of order, and the working treadmill had a rip in the belt that almost led to a fall); I think I wouldn’t be writing half as much in this review, though, if I had felt that the staff was a little more helpful when my son slipped in the pool area and sprained his ankle. The one ice machine for the hotel was out of order, so I asked the front desk for a little assistance and they said the only option was to make ice in the ice trays in the room, not ideal since they were empty and it would take a while, but okay, a cold washcloth could work for a bit. Bought a dose of Aleve from the shop area for $5 and went back to my room. Could have been a nice gesture to comp the Aleve but I get it, tight margins and what not. I should have brought a first aid kit. At any rate, again, decent place for a quick stay, but I wouldn’t recommend for anything longer, by my experience.

Loved having the 2 separate rooms!

Great staff. Well appointed breakfast. Had a great time in this hotel

There was a full refrigerator with a stovetop and microwave. they also provided utensils, dishes (like strainer bowls, measuring cup, and more) along with the added allowance of borrowing games from the front. My party went to watch Netflix on the tv and had waffles, eggs, bacon, yogurt and breakfast drinks though they also had cereal, oatmeal, fruits, different dry goods and more. The downstairs bathroom was a bit dirty but it was only dirty once out of the times we used it and the room was super spacious. The staff were all super nice and funny and our room was very clean and comfortable. As always, the hotel was a bit easy to hear noise but was overall a nice experience and fairly priced compared to those around us for less!

It’s an older Marriott location. It had some trim missing on the walls in the bathroom and small cosmetic things around the room that needed attention. Some friends had issues with water coming in the windows of their rooms during a storm but luckily we did not. The free breakfast was a nice touch and had plenty of options for my picky children.

Nice to have kitchen in the room as well as breakfast included. Very nice and helpful staff.

Clean

Not as clean as I expect from a Marriott property. Internet wouldn’t work; staff was clueless. I stayed several days and my room was never made up. I asked for fresh towels, etc. and was assured they would be delivered … not. I won’t stay at this property again.

We had a king bed with a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa was broken and once we were able to get it out the mattress was stained with what looked like blood. Super super nasty. They don't do room service unless you are there for longer than 2 nights so we did not have clean towels the second morning. We had to go find towels and they only gave us 3 to start with. Towel quality was pretty sad as well. Thin very used towels.

Staff was ok but not extra friendly. There were some broken doors and towels were not replenished at pool and room unless asked. Ran out of breakfast items at 830 am

They should refresh the rooms more often during your stay.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great for hotel breakfast and we love there our room had a little kitchenette which made bottle cleaning for our baby easy. The pool was nice and warm for a cold rainy day.

Breakfast minimal selections

staff were minimal help when i had a question, zero follow up, felt like there were “long term guests” that lived there which felt intimidating when arriving back late at night. our trailer was broke into at night fortunately it was empty so nothing was stolen.

Overall a nice hotel. Had trouble getting connected to the internet. It took 5 calls to the front desk for her to give me a different network to use, which I did connect to, but it was too slow to do anything with. The room's air conditioner kept the room cool, but it was so loud when operating it interrupted sleep.

The breakfast was adequate, but a couple more hot food options would have been appreciated. The area was convenient for us traveling through the Omaha area. The room itself actually provided more than we really needed, as it had a "full" kitchen. I didn't appreciate people smoking Marijuana so close to the entrance. I think that should be treated the same as your smoking policy. I also didn't appreciate the very high fee for having a dog along. I think I have paid as much as $50, but $100 is too much. If you don't want travelers with pets to stay at your facility, just say so. For this reason alone, we would not chose to stay again.

Always a good, clean choice when staying in Omaha. It is a little pricey, but so much better than several local options we will be back.
