The mattress was really old and outdated, and I could feel the wires underneath my back. It was really hard.

showers smelled mouldy/ musty. we ended up heading to the public baths to shower. hardly any food places nearby at night.

Parking is very convenient. The seaside is really beautiful. The facilities next to the swimming pool are great. The room is very large and clean. The breakfast is also great. You can also play table tennis! (Pay Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the pool, beach, friendly staff. Loved the tatami mat area of the room. The onsen was very nice. We really like the nostalgic feel of these types of resorts. A few upgrades with decor here and there, but keeping its vintage charm. Breakfast was nice. The step up to the bathroom in our room was very high and difficult. There were spider webs over the food at the buffet hanging from the green exit sign. One web directly over the large salad bowl. The onsen tub had tiles missing and sharp edges. There were dark mold spots here and there on the ceilings. The carpet could use an upgrade.

Loved the balcony ocean view, private beach, pool and bath. Included meals seemed delicious also. Gorgeous location for planned sightseeing and restaurants Beds were comfortable but small and could not be joined together. Small hole in the wall that a spider had seemed to get through.

A very peaceful area although a car rental was useful for exploring the island. Hall carpet needs cleaning because it was smelly. To be honest, the hotel needs a modest upgrade and if it were up to me I would take out the tatami and replace it with carpet, put in an extra bed, take out the futon cupboard which is stuck in the middle of the room and put a sofa in. The wallpaper could be painted cheaply. Scrap the old TV. Just like new and modern.

The room is big, nice facing. Staff is friendly. Ample parking space. The hotel does not provide bottled drinking water. You have to boil yourself with the kettle provided. Not really big issue but could have been better if provided like most other hotels.

I liked the private beach. I hated the smell.

It has an onsen (hot bath). Friendly people, but a bit outdated. There was a warning regarding birds. It should be better rewritten and states be aware of the flying ants when opening the sliding door to the balcony after dawn.
