We had the pleasure of staying at Kenny and Komaki’s guesthouse. It was well appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing time. The breakfast, provided and hand delivered, was something very special and delicious. Kenny was so helpful with his insights on restaurants and things to do. A very clean, comfortable, quiet accommodation with a local vibe. Hosts were lovely people. They served a beautiful Japanese style breakfast (with a Okinawan twist!) each morning, including a great cup of coffee. Wide range of restaurants and a few grocery stores within walking distance. Several secluded beaches that are fantastic for snorkeling, swimming and tide pooling are within walking distance. Walk to the bus route to Naha/ Kadena area and north island. Taxi coverage in the area. A perfect place for our 5 night stay.

No I’m completely obsessed. Everything perfect, the owners are so ridiculously nice. It’s so cozy and lovely. It rained most of the time we were there and it was still amazing. Like let this be the one place you stay on the big island. Perfect location for beach/snorkeling access. Breakfast on terrace is so peaceful and lovely. We basically planned our Okinawa trip around this stay and it was an amazing decision. Absolutely nothing favorite place I’ve ever stayed

First things first: Kenny and Komaki are some of the nicest, kindest hosts I have ever had the pleasure of staying with! They were super welcoming and helpful from the moment we booked and throughout our stay -- which we highly appreciated, given we were not the most prepared of travelers. Secondly, the breakfast was 10/10 delicious, and we looked forward to it every day. The room is cozy and comfortable, with a nice garden to relax in. Location-wise, we were very close (walking distance!) to beaches and snorkeling hotspots like Cape Maeda! Nothing! But I would recommend travelers to consult a map of Okinawa before booking, as it is a big island with somewhat inaccessible public transportation option. Getting to and from locations without a car can be challenging.

A small guesthouse with a homey vibe and a lot of love for details. Every morning we got a great breakfast set served on the terrace in a beautiful green garden. The room was quiet, clean, spacious with 2 beds, a small table, 2 comfy chairs and a hanger for clothes. They offer daily roomservice. Kenny and Komaki are very friendly and helpful hosts and gave us great recommendations. It is located near cape maeda. There is a brilliant plant-based restaurant in 3 min walking distance, an Italian place and another café. In about 7min walking distance is the cape for snorkeling or diving and 4 small beautiful beaches. Bring moskito spray ?
