Basic, but comfortable and convenient. Very good value for money. Good base for exploring Belgium Some of the lights weren’t working in main areas and there were exposed wires.

Location, many beds and clean bath room. Everything was good. I did not like noisy and loudly speaking guests next door, but it's not related with the property.

Very well located, short walk to the beach and the boulevard. Although we went in August, it was quite peaceful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Love the concept of the selfservice for the drinks! For the price we paid it is not very luxurious, but it has all you need. We were not informed that for the airconditioning unit a remote is needed and needs to be ordered with the reception. 16 euros for the breakfast is far too expensive.

The hotel is well suited for children with its large playground. The room was very spacious and all facilities were very clean. There is a free parking but places get taken fast on busy days. The location is good - a 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel staff was friendly and polite. I hadn’t realised that the hotel is in fact a youth hostel used for summer camps. It was full of groups of kids but we didn’t have much trouble with noise. There is waterproof protection on the mattresses and even the pillows which I don’t find comfortable, especially in the summer. There was no mosquito net. The light in the bathroom and in the toilet switches on automatically and switches off also automatically but only after several minutes, not very practical at night.

Close to beach and local transport. Room cosy, but sometimes too hot. Games available free to play. Buffet meals had a good selection to choose from. Lack of tea/ coffee making facilities in room. No access to fresh milk for tea in honesty bar. Insufficient parking at busy times. No prior warning that a large group was in attendance and noisy late at night.

Breakfast was sufficient. There is playground with sand, there are “cars” to put your stuff in and go to the beach, bicycle can be rented. Dinner can be take at bordering hotel except on Sunday. Amenities are basic but good for family. No desk light in case parents want to work when children sleep. Also Honesty bar is closed at 10pm.
