I thought the property was beautiful, nice easy walk to the beach. Pool was gorgeous. The Internet was horrible, I understand the construction is part of upgrading, but jackhammer’s all day was not what we planned for

The Happy Hour music and drink specials are great. Although signs are CLEARLY posted that beach chairs cannot be reserved/left unattended for more than one hour but attendants allowed it anyways. We would go down to the beach every day at 9 am and there would be dozens of chairs with towels or bags on them but no one would show up until 11 am. They would leave then come back hours later.

It's a nice hotel with a good location in front of Eagle Beach. It's very close to Palm Beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The main issue is that there's a wastewater treatment plant nearby, and it smells terrible when walking around the hotel grounds and the beach in front of it. It's hard to have a great time while dealing with that odor. We would have dined at the hotel restaurant more than once if it hadn't been for that issue. Also, the main pool was under renovation, so we couldn't access the pool area. If we had known that beforehand, we would have chosen a different hotel.

Nice low rise resort with multiple pools, great pool bar and beach bar. 2 for 1 happy hour was a plus. Easy and close access to beautiful Eagle beach. Relatively easy walk to Palm beach.

Everything was great it was a lot of older people it's not a place for the younger people Everything the different pools and the food place

The room is clean, spacious. Very nice and accommodating staff. We can smell the sewer periodically, and that is not the resorts fault, it’s coming from the outside and the smell is stronger when you’re at the beach. Concierge isn’t very helpful and personable.

Ideal location, close to grocery and restaurants. Loved the walking/bike path.

good. disappointed at process of reserving palabas. getting out at 5:30 am is not my idea of vacation. the $300 we were charged for late checkout, didn't realize 10 am. we're 75 & 77 yrs old & been coming to la cabana for 23 yrs. will, as a result, consider staying elsewhere! extremely disappointed!

room location, poor visibility housekeeping - only comes 1 time a week. pool and beach seats are difficult to get unless you get there at 5am. By 7am, all pool seats are taken and palapas are limited if any available

Aruba and La Cabana were great but the room was as far away from the beach and pool as you can get. We didn't mind the extra steps but others - especially the elderly - might. Hot tub open till 10pm. Unlike high rise places Location Wrist bands for room key Room had small kitchen. Price was steep.

Room with ocean view was very nice as was the gym. Daily music was also nice. The external facilities were well below expectations due to the constructions. The fencing used for construction is very low quality depicting a work site rather than a hotel/resort. I would suggest closing the facilities during such renovations as it is cosmetically poor for guest
