Residence Gli Ulivi

The host send us a WhatsApp with all the information before our arrival. Was nice and explain everything at the checkin. - They left water, fruits and sweets in fridge for our arrival. - The property is located outside the town in a very calm and relaxed area surrounded by olive trees. The property has different houses but separated so you have your privacy. - Nice swimming pool (shared). - Nice air conditioning and good beds we rest very well. There is bbq, and the basics to cooked at home. Also they have umbrella for beach and little fridge. There is a nice beach 10 min by car. But we really enjoy Cala Liberotto 20 min by car truly amazing and for my toddler was perfect. In overall we had a good experience but there is place for improvement: - The property do not have automatic checking. We needed to call the host to meet for the keys, since there was nobody there. - will be nice to have the basics to cook salt, oil, toiletries in the toilet -The address was different from the one in the post so was a bit confusing. Will be better to put the proper address. - The coffe machine didn’t work. The host told us they will fix it but never happened. - Bring mosquito repellent for evenings (outside) - WiFi didn’t work most of the time.

Decent facilities, spacious apartment, swimming pool, quiet area, not too far to the town and beaches if you have bikes. There are misunderstandig in bookin.com information. The facility pictures refer to the different buildings in the town. The apartment we have gotten lay 3 km from the town and 2 km from the beach.

Clean apartment with well equipped kitchen closed to the beach and old town. A breakfast at the hotel (ca. 1 km away) was very good and tasty. It was very noisy from the road under the windows. It is impossible to open the windows. A canalization‘s smell: we cleaned all the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom, but it didn't help. Unfortunately an owner did not respond to our complaint.

it was clean. The pool was very good, but the different as in the pictures. The apartment was big it had a new kitchen stove. The apartment did not look like in the photos. The furniture was old, and there was no basic extras for cooking like salt, oil, etc. I reserved it because it was the birthday of my husband and I asked for an apartment like it’s in the pictures. The manager did not bring any solutions but instead saying, I just cannot help you at all, and he told us that it kind of looks like in one of the 20 pictures. I sent him screenshots proving that it’s not the case. so if you want to rent it just know that it’s not like in the pictures. 

Clean and well equipped with the access to the swimming pool. Very well located between the town and close walking distance to the beach and the best restaurants and shops near by.

Good location of apartment. Nice swiming pool. Sometimes we had problem with wi-fi connection..

The apartment was a little house in the midle of an olive orchard , far from town. We stayed 8 days and no one came to pick up the trash.

We never ended up staying at the Residence. A few minutes after we booked, we were told that the place was closed for maintenance/ renovations and were therefore offered a room at their hotel 2.5 km further land inward. We were not amused: it shouldn’t have been online if it were unavailable, and we explicitly wanted to be near the beach. We ended up taking the hotel room due to organizational difficulties. The room there was great and the receptionist Sofia was nothing short of fantastic and professional. The hotel would have earned more stars if this had been our choice. The owner ended up giving us a €5 discount per night for the inconvenience … sigh. See above

Breakfast and the terrace were perfect.

There were no pool even if they said there is a pool.

We stayed at a property different from the one that was advertised in the booking which was quite disappointing. The apartment was okay but I though was too expensive for what we got and there was a bit of a lingering smell in it.

Exceptional

The apartment was clean with plenty of space for living. The furniture was new and functional. We liked our stay there although it was short. Underground parking is very tight making any maneuvering difficult. Fortunately, there were not many cars there so that we could park our car.

The apartment was clean, cosy and well equipped. The food from the restaurant was very good and the staff & service irreproachable. There is no AC but only some sort of a fan system and it was quite hot. I cannot imagine how you can stay there later in the summer... The pool was still unavailable. I was prepared as I had seen already the other guests' comments. However I think the facilities description is misleading. It should be written on the platform instead of booking and paying for an apartament with pool access and then being informed that it is unavailable. I feel like we were not given all the necessary information during the check in process. There is no transparency about how halfboard works and I don't think they are prepared to offer such a service (you end up paying a lot of extras). However I do recommend eating in the restaurant, the food is exquisite, the service as well, but with pay on spot.
