Staff was very nice and could speak some english. Room was clean and had a large public bath available. Location is right next to a subway line and really close to Osaka castle so walking there was very easy. Laundry machines were a little small but about average for Japan.

Location is great and very clean . but that’s not good if you can’t get any sleep. Had a drunken guest staying in the room opposite mine, banging the doors opening and shutting his front door, hitting the walls yelling for over an hour to two hours The staff was notified by myself what was going on upstairs in the room opposite me, but it was very hard translating over the phone in the room as they could not understand anything I was saying so it took a long time to translate. The staff came up where they did see the guest in the room opposite me in his jokes with his front door wide open, and his room was in a very bad state. The guy shut the door and they really didn’t do much to intervene. The yelling and banging continued. It was a really bad night. I was told in the morning that he was no longer there. I’m sorry for the disturbance not really good enough if you had done that in Australia, the police would have been called and they would’ve been removed.

Breakfast needs to be reserved and I couldn’t just walk in on the day. Political brochures are displayed in the rooms which deny the events of Pearl Harbour.

Very friendly helpful staff that assisted us with making a phone call in Japanese to help us recover a lost item. I wish the spa had better instructions in English, I was a little confused on how to use it properly and where my towel was supposed to go.

Price, location & staff the onsen was ok. The room was VERY small, only the heater worked (march, 2026), and I had to crack the window to cool off the room. The outside street noise was not bad for a city hotel.

Very convenient location and had all the amenities I needed. No skincare amenities but I brought my own so I didn’t need it. There’s only 2 elevators so during peak times (~8am) you’re stuck waiting for a long time because most elevators are full by the time it gets to your floor so you can’t get on. There are no stairs that you can use during these times.

The Osaka castle is about a 15 minute walk away. It’s lit up at night until 9pm so I had a great walk before turning in for the night. Really this location is just perfect for a traveler. Nothing to dislike!
