Location was good (close to train station), but the immediate surroundings a bit random.

What we liked: Large chain of hotels, felt well run and professional Big, spacious lobby Staff were friendly and smiled Loved the big map on the wall Loved the pineapple lollies in the rooms Evening events on offer, a nice touch for the kids Booked the IDOBATA Suite with four separate beds, worked well travelling as a family of 4 with two teenagers Great views of the city Loved the digital artwork on the hotel facade in the evening Tips for other guests: Osaka felt more relaxed than Kyoto and Tokyo generally, could easily have stayed two nights here and two nights in another location Book a food tour (we booked ours externally) Our favourite temple was Katsuoji (40 mins outside of osaka Skip Osaka Castle, the inside has been fully gutted and modernised in a way that felt jarring. As someone who's studied art history I was sorely disappointed, unless you just want to go up for the view from the top What we didn't like: Felt a bit cheap being asked to pay 1000 yen for the onsen, especially after already spending around $400 AUD a night on the room Arrived on a Monday at 1pm and asked about early check-in, but they couldn't accommodate us, even though you could tell the hotel was quiet with over 320 rooms. Japan does love its rules! Would recommend the manager read "Unreasonable Hospitality", a bit more flexibility here would go a long way They have lockers for luggage in the meantime, but half the ones we tried were broken or didn't work. Would suggest someone regularly checks and maintains these

I paid for a corner room for 3 persons and need to setup the 3rd bed myself. First time ever I need to setup a bed in a hotel.

Location was good, service was helpful and great night view from the window

New property comfortable rooms, comfortable beds good space with three girls traveling together. Amazing breakfast buffet. Overall excellence from Hoshino as always. Great bath. Neighborhood was a little out of the way, but I still walked directly to Namba didn't even bother with subway. Osaka is compact.

Their room space is nice Need to pay extra fees for public Yu.

STUNNING PLACE I Loved Everything

The location and amenities were great. The public baths were a highlight. The staff were very helpful and always available. Love being close to the train station. I would say the only downside was not being able to open the window for fresh air in the room.

Beautiful resort and huge rooms. Great amenities and very family friendly. The breakfast buffet was the best… delicious and high quality. Close access to subway so very easy to get to Shin-Osaka station. We used the shuttle for USJ and it was easy and convenient. Staff were very helpful and kind. Our room had an odd odor that may be due to the air purifier. Smelled it whenever we entered the room mainly. We’re sensitive to smells so it was noticeable for us. We’ve experienced the same smell in another hotel so it’s not just this resort.

Very limited restaurants in the area. Not very safe in some areas.

Food was amazing, great location to train station and our food tour. Great events in the evening. Clean, great coffee. Great breakfast options and very beautiful hotel. My parents did not like their king room as they were not able to watch TV from their bed. But that's them.

I appreciate its location near two train lines, which is very convenient." 1. There is room for improvement for staff’s English proficiency. 2. There were toothpaste stains behind the sink. 3. The housekeeper only refilled the teabags on one day, instead of daily. 4. I encountered my first experience of not having stamps available for residents to purchase for postcards. 5. There is a lack of a convenient umbrella borrowing service; umbrellas are restricted for use only within the hotel area, which is not flexible and feels unusual.

Free self luggage lockers available before check in time. Breakfast food was good. Staff were super helpful when my wife needed to go to the doctor. The staff were noticeably attentive. All amenities are at your disposal in the lobby. Location is right out from the Shin Imamiya station. Convenience store nearby. Many restaurants within walking distance. Room was spacious Not applicable.

Loved the location. The all you can eat breakfast and the garden area. My son loved every min of this place N/A
